  • They don'y carry this model anymore...I actually had one blow apart and rolled a half mile after smashing into my metal storage shed...we had gusts up to 80mph and HF actually exchanged a pile of debree for a new one...a lot of my stakes that went into the ground were bent almost 90 degrees...I had the shed set up for 3 weeks before the incident...HF has a great customer satisfaction in my book.

  • i just got one looks great ill put up a vid of me putting it up

  • Awesome video man. Makes me want to buy a tent now. Thanks

  • Man...thanks a million for your informative video. I'm in the process of opening a mobile auto detailing business. I'm looking for a canopy that I can assemble/disassemble quickly and move on to the next. Can you please refer me to some canopy makers who you think can favor my needs? Thank you, God bless you & America.

  • @pitolove71 Harbor Freight may have one with no sides that would be faster...no idea really.

  • do they make a wider version?

  • @doubletapm4 I wish, but no...it's an awesome design...I would have loved even just a longer one...but that's the only size available unless you fab something up yourself.

  • @doubletapm4 as of 10/24/11 there are like 4 or 5 different models

  • Nice video...helpful...enjoyed it. Thanks.

  • Is spring the best time to catch them on sale?

  • @rlachermeier Usually...never in the fall or winter.

  • @Turbo231 Thanks, I'll keep an eye for them to go on sale. I had used other types in the past to cover my car in the winter but when one collapsed on my car and broke the windshield I took it down. I think the rounded roof might help shed the snow.

  • @rlachermeier Sounds good...just know it's only 17 feet long...so long cars will require a longer tent.

  • we used to zip screw the pipes then it would pull apart

  • Wow I am glad u did this video, I am mechanicly inclinde but the pics and instructions to this one I got are not very good and seem to be not label as of yet, your video will help me out big time come tomorrow morning.

  • @moose3971 Your welcome...the two videos have been very popular and it is a very good garage.

  • I just bought this and was wondering what size tarp did you put down for the floor?

  • @jgreco87 I believe it's a 10 foot by 20 foot. The tent is 8 feet wide and 17 feet long, so it overlaps nice.

  • Excellent instructions and much better than the silly drawings that come with it. Thanks!

  • wow man really good video, i really like how you did the floor as well, nice touch. I am going to buy one of these this weekend to store a car in as well, thanks for making this video!

  • I was thinking of using one of these as a cheap wall tent.

  • man i like my shelter logic garage much easier than this great vid

  • nice video. does this building withstand winter snow? do you live in a colder climate?

  • Yes, it does. It sheds snow nicely. I live in central Maine, we get lots of snow and wind. I do dig out sides from time to time to keep too much weight from stretching my tarp.

  • Nice video, I put a similar tent together, use self tapping screws to hold the whole thing together, it will be more rigid.

    dave...

  • great video

  • you seem so sold to that product

  • They are cheap and they work, so I spread the word. That tent is now down for the season.

  • awesum video

  • thanks i have alot of my engines outside well like 20 in the elements and need some way to cover them up fully from water because i dont start them often thats why and my shed is not big enough so need something else thats cool thanks man

  • were can you but one of those ??

  • Part 1 is coming, it's in the Harbor Freight Catalog and their website.

  • Whats the actual size of that shed?

Thats pretty cool- looks easy to put together.

An easier way for the bits to hold together is drill out the connectors and use like a 1/4 20 nut and bolt- for a bit more ridgidity

I sorta debated about getting a shed like that- ive seen alot down here actually - i have a 12x16 wooden shed- im more thinking a temporary one for my mowers- keep em out of the weather and i wont need tarps over them.

Id have to come up with some sort of floor as well.

  • 12 feet wide, 17 long, and 10 tall I think. It's in part one which will be done processing shortly. Once constructed, the garage is great. The one behind it takes a beating and keeps on ticking. We've covered the floor in nice pallets and store seasonal equipment in there

  • Thanks for the info- id have to be careful what i use for flooring- sometimes the lower back yard floods when it rains hard- wood pallets are too prone to termites- ill look around - thanks again.
