  • It would be fun to use an older film camera, like if you wanted to film am 80s style parody with an 80s camera. Then converting that to digital media. Would that be doable for the budget film maker? I mean those older professional cameras probably aren't in high demand anymore right? XD

  • @aimanazlan90 Id go for premiere pro

  • @aimanazlan90 Or you could use Avid Studio as well, it works like a charm for me and I'd say it is as close to final cut if not better...also use After Effects to complement ur vids and ur all set.

  • I don't think it's really necessary to have HD camera. DVD-quality is just enough!

  • expensive huhuhuhu

  • thanks you !!! can some one plz tell me if my movies are good ??

  • One problem. Cash.

  • @trunkie777

Get creative. It is most artists' problem! But don't get discouraged. Creative solutions to get what you need. That's what the process is about. Especially as a producer.

  • Tripod? How do you get a smooth, clean, shake-less shot of a scene.

  • I want to make documentaries. But I dont wanna go to school for years trying to learn. I have a few ideas that I want to put on film, what software would you reccomend for me?

  • for pc sony vegas, for mac final cut express, they are cheap and easy to use. Is all you need for documentaries. :)

  • durk? vegas cheapy and easy?

okay, it is pretty "easy" to work with it when you've become adept at it, but cheap?

    599$..

  • the price for "sony vegas movie studio 9 platinium " is 97.99 $ there are like 3 kinds of sony vegas and I never said the pro...who is the durk now? this is for beginners!!!! for someone who wants to start making documentaries!!

  • I'm sorry... but the only vegas version actually (= most commonly) used in making videos is the 8.0 pro edition,

    which is over 500$

and if you don't understand how I used the word "Durk", then you truely are, a durk.

what's up with all the !!!!!!!'s by the way?

you can just aswel use one! and you'll be fine. and if you want to start video editing, start with WMM. vegas, fe, is quite hard.

  • Final Cut Pro is better

  • i use pinicle studio 12

  • Avid Media Composer is definitely what you want if you have significant funds.

  • writersguildofamerica

  • I personally prefer Sony Vegas over Final Cut Pro, it's much more easier to learn and to use, and the rendering quality is superb.

  • You know, I think you're right. I've never really thought about it, but the audio probably is a bit more important than the visual. At least with the visual, you can make anything that seems off work with your story somehow. Not so much with sound. Great video!
