  • 0:38 hello miss violet eyes...:)

  • correct me if i'm wrong but i think elizabeth was the only one who could ride that horse among the film crew which was given to her after filming the movie. the horse would not want anyone ride on his back but elizabeth tamed the horse

  • That music must be from some cowboy movie, very inappropriate (and so corny) for this film set in 1930s England.

  • @wyomingmali Ah... but it was filmed in Hollywood ;)

  • @storyjan ahh but it was actually filmed in pebble beach

  • Aww. This was so nice. You did a perfect recap of the movie in less than 5 mins. Liz Taylor was truly a treasure.

  • Thank you!!! This made me cry to watch it, how moving, and how talented and beautiful Elizabeth Taylor was even as a child. I'm getting up early tomorrow morning just to watch National Velvet on Turner Classic Movies, 7:30 a.m. EST ,Sunday, April 10, 2011. I can't wait!

  • Elizabeth Taylor in this movie inspired me as a young girl to become the horsewoman that I am today. She was an excellent rider in "National Velvet" My favorite Horse Movie of all time. I read that the studio gave Pie to her after the wrap.

  • Absolutely wonderful. Amazing how startlingly beautiful she already was at 12 years old. A very moving tribute to a very deserving woman.

  • Many thanks to whoever put this together and put it up so quickly.

  • i always loved this movie and thought elizabeth taylor was so beautiful and such a great actress. she will be missed. may she rest in peace. great tribute to a wonderful lady.
