I love the mecha series of the monsters a lot but King ghidorah is my favorite, ever since I was a little king, I loved Godzilla, Rodan, Mecha Godzilla, and King Ghidorah, while growing up, Rodan dropped in ranks (sorry, old pal) and so did Mecha Godzilla, however King Ghidorah became the top dog and Mecha Kind Ghidorah right behind him. Love that monster the most now, sorry Godzilla, I still have lots of respect for you

This godzilla was taken BEFORE he absorbed the bombs(americans were testing it) energy. It was a Godzillasaurus at the time. They moved him away from the bomb preventing his power increase. They left the midget Ghidorahs(the Dorats) to absorb the power. Now it absorbs the power, and goes on a godzilla style rampage.

Where godzilla was moved, a large russian tanker was destroyed near him, and he became even moar powerful.

The destroyer part is well, an unexplainable plot hole imo. Good question
