I've had online relationships in the past, and from those experiences I've learned some things about myself: that it is easy for me to get infatuated with someone online if I get too close, and that I cannot know if I am attracted to someone until I meet her in person. So now, I'd rather meet an online friend sooner than later, until then I keep my distance so I don't get too close. Kind of a catch 22 though.
I'd say 50% but yep. It should only be used for initial introductions/screenings imo. You can't truly get to know someone with just online. I mean you could meet someone online and get along great. Then you meet them irl only to find out they chew with their mouth open! /shock /horror /dismay o_O
i agree online u could be yourself but a person also created an alter ego someone who they wish they were but are not and in the internet u dont to hide the side of u because the only thing u have to hide is your named and face
