@AceGuitarR7 his stamina, footwork, timing, anticipation, etc. have all declined due to his aging, and as a result he can't play his old game anymore. if you think about it, the factors that I mentioned were the foundations of his game.

@eclecticist0 i think his strength and endurance declined too. Without that he will be more tired in between points and during the points, which means more unforced errors. He feels he can't hit with power effortlessly anymore which dents confidence. The results in final stages of tournaments, q-finals onwards, have shown. First few rounds opponents are too bad and fed can get away with short points.
