  • MAN!!!! I sure do miss the 80s. If I were a little older then, I would have bought this album. The song That's Where You Fine Me was my favorite.

  • to Nostrandbaby718, I am an Algerian and I am still fan of Funk music, since the 80s till now. AUURA the 1980s soul group, who at the time of their biggest success was composed of Curt Jones and Starleana Young. The band started off in 1980 signing to Dream Records and then Salsoul Records. Due to legal issues with a former member over the name Aurra made the duo change their name to Deja, so 'are you single' song was performed by them under the group name of 'Aurra' . Best regards.

  • I think they were or did not get to put a record out. on the wrecks n effect song: "New Jack Swing"; Teddy Rap part: "I got Boy George,James Ing,Today,Mo Dee,Bobby Brown,Redman,Keith Sweat, Deja and my homeboys Guy" That was only time I heard him mention Deja.

  • Monte Moir(The Time) produced this whole album. Teddy did the next album with the new vocalist Mysti Day

  • they origonated with slave. they performed on the stone jam album. they also used to be aurra. are you single was their top hit. i dont remember them being down with teddy. steve washington the former leader of slave produced their songs and also performed with the group when he split up with slave

I cannot think of the songs name, but I know Video Soul use to always play it. I been looking for the song or video for years. If you could post it or let me know where I might can look. I would be so greatful. I do know they was down with Teddy Riley.. Thanks
