Hey bud,

I was inspired by your revo, and just finished my os .28 swapped revo this week, however i am having trouble finding a starter box with enough power to get it started. My motor is fresh out the box and has a lot of pinch and im just searching for an avaliable box with enough torque..

Is there anything you recommend?

hey i dont know if you remember me but i need help with this gear ratio i have a 72spur with a 22 pinion 3.27 turn it does in the chart of ratio and i want to put a 13pinion with a 5.53 turns is that better or is it much slower i dont get it

@iuliuspeverini Its a 18t clutchbell, and a 36t spur gear, the clutchbell is on the engine, spur gear on transmission. Its a 1/8 scale clutch setup. The engine is modified by ABmods, you can order it directly from him, just contact him via his website :)

is that the stock revo transmission, in order to go even faster you should try the traxxas slayers transmission because it has a higher gear ratio.

@pvelker if you just read the video description you will see some of the mods, wich include the slayer transmision, i was (i think) the 1st to use that setup back when the slayer came out. :)

wouldn't want that to hit you at that speed I once hit my ankle with my revo (with alloy skids) and was only doing approx 5pmph but man it hurt like hell and actually caused me to bleed at 5MPH!!!! 70ish would more then likely brake a bone at least,,,, nice vid hope to get some up myself soon....

My revo 2.5r kept cutting out after high speed runs even after retune,, I then took apart, pinch had gone and you could push piston through the top of sleeve apporx 1mm, Q 1, would that cause the cutting out at idle after hs runs? Q2,any idea what oil to use when rebuilding diffs,

@initiatededdeano  Hi, if you can push the piston through the sleeve it definatly need a repinch or a new piston/sleeve. You dont have enought compression, after a speed run the engine get hot enought to expand the sleeve, wich will make it stall and restart only when its cold again.

For the diff, it depend what car you run, and what you plan to do. Let me know what car it is i may be able to give you some pointers :)

@MikePeperni, yeah thought so just needed someone to confirm... I have 2 revos,(2.5r) but one has 3,3, I just use them to bash, nothing seriouse. Aslo a Tmax 2.5.

@MikePeperni that sucks, yea nitrotane is the best fuel i have ever used, its clear, but it the smell does not burn like other fules, less smoke, and just as much oil, good mix of castor and sinthetic.
