I think we should be less soc. than, say, Germany, but more so than we presently are. And using public money to make private companies stay liquid IS socialism in the same way using it for anything, like roadways and schools, is socialism. I know plenty of unlicense plumbers! If you looking for a plumber, some look for unlicense cause they WILL be cheaper, besides if you getting a unlicense plumber you would be STUPID not to find out the going rate for whatever job u need done! I know all this cause my dad is a plumber!

So, its okay for him to be on welfare when he was poor but now that he "made it" he feels he doesnt have to put back in? where do you think that welfare money came from joe?

jeffzalonka, I'm here to fill you in. The business he wants to buy makes about 270-280K, which you could have looked up here by searching for joe the plumber questions obama, before writing this.
Also Joe never said he didn't want to pay taxes, but didn't want them raised.
All the guy did was ask a question and everyone on the left insists on attacking him. It shows Democrats are really not for the little guy and what happens if you ask the wrong question. Watch out you might be next.

i also did a little research. the business that he supposedly wants to buy doesn't make 270-280k. its makes 100k. so if he did "buy" it then taxes wouldnt be raised and since its a small business he could get a tax cut.
also, youre right. joe never said he didnt want to pay taxes. infact i believe he didnt pay them and still owes.
if hes going to ask a question why lie about his situation? why?
Also, i heard he and his parents use to be on welfare....
