If I use my regular recorder and put static on the tv by changing the channel from what satilite has it set on, is that the way to maybe get someone to communicate on my recorder. Does there have to be white noise in the background, has anyone heard of voices coming through the tv through static or do all I need is my recorder. Evps are also my favorite part of investigating! 8 days ago, i was at hillside cemetery in redlands, calif. and when reviewing the audio, 15:40 into it, we clearly hear a male voice which said " my back is killing me, my back. my back is killing me, im gonna go lie down" we were a group of women. there were no men anywhere! its funny because you can hear another investigator saying that her back was starting to hurt in the background.i got four smaller evps there.

It's belief that It's part of the Intro to the vid. Stuff like that is put in for a reason. I analyze VidAudio from the camcorders people use on investigations and on TV shows. The big production cameras and studio equipment have built in noise reduction which eliminates noise and of course what comes with noise, EVP's.

Someone was trying to blame internal mechanical tape recorder sounds deteriorating with age recorded on magnetic analog tape. But that doesn't explain how people pic up new sounds and voices that they hear right away on digital non-mechanical recorders. We don't know for a fact if it's a mechanical product either. And that is why people are stressed to study it so we find out for sure if it really is ghosts or recorder sounds and have proof to show for it.

Ok evp recording has been going on since people began capturing their voices/sounds on tape. Any recording device with a microphone will do the job very well Evp's seems to have more to do with the magnetic pick up within the microphone. People may argue that reel to reel tape machines seem to get a louder clearer copy of evp's while other people claim because digital recorders have no mechanical parts there is nothing to produce or interfere with the recording either way you still get the evp

I don't know much about electronic voice stuff, but I do know there is a residual phenomenon. I've had it happen to my brother and I. My brother witnessed a tramautic event at my house with my mother. I was not home at the time. When I got home, he was telling me what happened, as he's telling me, we both heard my mother scream for help from the other room. We ran to her to find nothing was wrong. We both heard it! He told me that was exactly what he heard when the traumatic event happened.

ACTUALLY being a sound engineer I love watching these videos. All these voices are recorded on tape which is the most volatile format possible. It picks up heaps of background noise from the internal mechanics of the recorder, it deteriorates over time which creates some very weird noises. And all the "professional" software they use to "clean up" the sound is freeware! I love the terms and techniques they use too. "I removed the static and background noise so you can hear it better"...

I have had some strange experiences at times while I'm going to sleep. Don't think I'm crazy when I tell you this though. Sometimes as I would fall asleep, I would hear on several occasions at night a voice saying "hello" or "Hello, Meredith" or "Hey" or "Hi" to me as if they were whispering directly into my ear. if you listen to white noise, well you can hear alot of things.And people may think of them as the ghost's voice.(not saying it is not true!) Ghosts, i think will contact you in a more direct way than, white noise. As an example, my great grand mother died, yet she called my dad's cellphone when we didn't know she died. that's very possible. a lot of people have a special type of ghost that can appear only one. it's when they know they're about to die. usually they appear (or make contact) seconds before/after/and sometimes during death. but they aren't really a ghost yet. they're still the living person, just without a pulse. or a body. usually, evps are of people who didn't get to say good bye.
