terrible terrible accident but that was funny when he said this has to be deliberate after the second plane hit and the other guy on the phone was like ya i think so at @10:34
Criticize fox news as you will...but this guy undoubtly gave the best information...i remember watching abc and after the second plane hit, they were talking about air traffic control problems and even one stupid anchor asked "whats that bottom of that chopper swinging back and forth?"....what a joke cbs, nbc, and cbs are..why people watch those liberal propaganda channels is beyond me
1,355 people trapped in North tower the moment the jet hit. Many of the jumpers had to hear the screams of their co-workers burning to death, It's hard to comprehend.
My mom was watching this when it happened. She had just gotten home from work (she worked a night shift at a hospital) and turned on the news. She said when she saw the second plane hit that she just kept thinking that this is what Pearl Harbor must have felt like.
This guy called it better than any of the other news anchors. Before the second plane strikes he is saying that it is likely to be a deliberate act. Quite rightly - journalistic caution is laudable, but in this case it was already apparent that it was unlikely to be an accident. After the second hit he not only calls it as terrorism, but correctly identifies the chief culprit. Meanwhile, other channels are still wondering if it is merely a problem with air traffic control.
@hammop1 I agree that he called it well while most other networks were lagging behind. ABC's coverage was pretty good too and was the best of the three major networks IMO.
@hammop1 you are absoloutly right...bryant gumbel was a bumbling fool, and the people who said "i wonder if it was air traffic control probems' need to have their head examined

It still seems so surreal. I will never forget where I was. So much has transpired since this day. I was so wrapped up in my own life at the time that I did not question the official story. It was not until late 2005 that I started hearing other possibilities and I resisted them. I know the truth now. RIP to all that lost their life on that day.
@Jaxson0023 quit spreading THEIR propaganda. they did a good enough job with the news, we dont need the sheep repeating what was already shoved down our throats by the talking heads. try doing some thinking on your own for a while instead of accepting everything you hear on the news.
@Jaxson0023 then explain why the planes were in the air for over an hour without any NORAD interference. The most guarded airspace in the world. Also why did the official investigation take over 9 months to begin. We are talking about the 'biggest attack on America ever' and no 9/11 Comission for over 9 months?!! Then again you probably dont have the brain capacity to think outside what youve been told, or simply cant be bothered to research.
