  • @soulfide well they wont, because theres not much. obliviously this religion is worldwide, and has temples all over the world, theres one being built in rome as we speak, which WAS a huge controversy due to the fact that its a catholic nation there, so tell me how do you stop a world known religion that is growing immensely without a doubt, these videos are nothing to this great organization, ive done my research and maybe you should do yours

  • @iamanexmormon i honestly just feel that this video isnt even about emotional support its just trying to get people to move away from their beliefs, and how sad is that. if you cant stand for nothing, you can fall for anything. gordon b hinkley said once "if life gets too hard to stand, kneel" and i think you forgot about that.

  • @iamanexmormon well cant you agree that the church never forced you to believe one thing, you always had free agency, unlike muslims or any other religion like that, they are killed horribly for even writing in the quran, and you have actually made a video against what you once believed in

  • they dont even have a true testimony of the church, i was confused most of the time i watched 2. its sad how people want to prove a point sooo bad that they have to come this far to make videos like these, but again, the church is world wide, obviously people like something about it.

  • @Suhrye1110 We want to tell our stories and I think it is emotionally healing for us to do so. Can you see how this might benefit exmormons to have positive examples in order to help others find hope during a confusing and often difficult transition out of the LDS church?

  • @Suhrye1110 No, there are just more stupid people than smart people.

  • @Suhrye1110 Its interesting because it goes both ways.. there are numerous mormon ads that show people happy and having a good time. Then there are videos like these where people state that they learned something new that was never explained to them. They never go into detail too much because they don't want to say anything too bad but I hope they will eventually. There are numerous things about this religion people are not being told..... and its not until they wake up and realise its bull

  • Honesty and integrity seem to be missing. Friend, you said a mouthful. Mormons are deceiving, full of trickery, and kniving. They are big liars. You figured it out because you have higher values that you will not compromise with. They are a scary organization.

  • and now you fuck another whore's ass i.e pent-Afuck-Head

  • @InTheHouse1000 Thank you for proving my point that you all are so blind and unwilling to accept the truth. You see one fraction of the pie and make all your judgments on that sliver not understanding how it affects the whole or what it truly means. I'm tired of these baseless accusations that none of you know anything about. You're not willing to hear the whole truth, only the bigoted slander you've been spoon fed. Keep having your truly blind faith and good luck. leave me out of this.

  • @AnatoleBelge Just so everyone knows, I am done posting on here. You all are so blind and unwilling to accept the truth because it hurts your pride. Not only that your arguments make no sense. Scientist ALWAYS go in search to prove or disprove. Its called the scientific method. BUt regardless. I am done with this pathetic attempt to stop God's work. Y'all keep the faith, as I've said it takes more faith to not believe in God and to trust science than it does to believe.

  • @tbas5889 So what would be a credible resource? Go look at the FARMS organization. THeir sole purpose was to find archeological proof the BOM is true. but its a church affiliated organization so its probably not "credible" to you. Do an OUNCE of research about DNA in native americans and it is a complete mixing bowl of ancestrial DNA. Middle Eastern being one of them. I won't take away the experience of learning from you by doing your own research. go have fun.

  • @masterjedidavidsharp "THeir sole purpose was to find archeological proof the BOM is true."

That alone discredits them without even having to consider their church affiliation. An honest search goes where the evidence leads rather than try to prove a desired outcome.

And the DNA evidence isn't nearly a jumbo like you say. The only dispute among various studies has to do with how exactly the eastern Asians came to N America. That they were E Asians and not Jews is settled.

  • @AnatoleBelge

I would not say it is "settled"

Yet no 1 has claimed those in the BoM were Jews. They were of the Tribe of Joseph not Judah. They are of the House of Israel. "Jew" has two meanings. One being from the Tribe of Judah (modern day Jews) the other being the generic name for the Children of Israel. Remember, there were ten tribes (including Joseph) that were taken captive to the East. The remaining 2 (Judah and Benjamin) make up what we call Jews today.

  • Good for you robert I hope you one get Born again and let the Holy Spirit tlk to you and you will find someone whose honestly integrity and truth will blow you away Jesus Christ.

He will lead you in to all truth the road will tough and fake Christians will try to water down your faith but stay strong

  • @atdd22 Then EVERY religion is manipulative.

  • @AgnosticTao As far as President Hinckley, consider this, can a fourth grader understand calculus? the same principle is here, your small brain and limited knowledge but mostly your lack of faith wont allow you to understand this. So what else do you want to throw out... polygomy? I do commend you and the other atheist/agnostics. I think it takes a lot more faith to not believe in God than it does to believe in Him.

  • @AgnosticTao helping prove what some of the story is in the Book of Mormon, as for no archealogical prove, you're either ignorant or choose to ignore the proof. It's there but since it was probably found by Mormon scientist you don't accept it. racism. oldest argument in the book. I wont even address it because of how pointless an argument you have for it.

  • @masterjedidavidsharp I would love for you to point out one credible source of archaeological proof of the Book of Mormon. I would also love to hear your explanation of the fact that the Book of Mormon claims that Nephi and his family migrated from Israel to the Americas, and their future generations are what we recognize as the Native Americans, yet DNA evidence PROVES Native Americans are of Asian descent.

  • @AgnosticTao i find it funny... everything in your comment is either completely false or partially false. Aside from the seer stone... which is in the Bible. Joseph Smith was 14, i didnt know he was denied from joining a church... but preachers hated him for having a vision from God and angels, eventho those things were common in the Bible. Lamanite, I think you're talking about Native Americans, which lineage goes to Asians, but the important thing is that it also comes from Middle East...

  • Good job, Robert. It takes courage to do what you did. Integrity demands leaving the fold once one knows the truth. Thank god for Google. Any captive can know what you now know. Fear not LDS brethren! I challenge you to give yourself permission to look at what everyone knows but you. Truth has nothing to fear. Google Mormonism/Masonry, the Book of Abraham and Kinderhook fraud. Or Zelph, the white Lamanite ;) Hinkley lying about the Blacks, men becoming gods...You can thank me later.

  • Mrfitzwilly, Actually you can be perfect. Its when you are IN Jesus, dwelling in him and its HIS righteousness that changes us from Glory to Glory. You are blinded by religion.

  • You cannot stop this work. It is not of man. So sad to see his confusion. sounds like he thought we should be perfect. I've got news for you. Not happening in this life Robert.

  • @cindybin2001 "And nobody uses psychological manipulation to retain membership!"

    - Whitewash of church history and pressure to apply self-censorship

    - Repeated public testimonies of faith in founder and Prophet

    - Threatening prophesies regarding the fate of apostates

    - Promoting negative, sinful, stereotypes of apostates

    - Fear of being shunned by friends, family and spouse

    - Huge demands on time and money that creates a 'sunk cost' barrier to leaving.

All these aspects are very manipulative.

  • "hi my name is Robert and Im a dumbnut" :)

  • Life without religion = happiness.

  • Simpsons is known to be subversive. My heroes!

  • @ADayWithoutYesterday You say that there is a natural law writen on Man's hearts, youre right. What is that? Believe in Jesus Christ? do good to all men? Do you're best to live by God's commandments, guess what... THATS WHAT MORMONS BELIEVE!

  • @ADayWithoutYesterday NO, what is your PROOF that it is false?

  • @masterjedidavidsharp You (the mormons) aree making the claims, you are the one who have to provide proof - and since it is an extraordinary claim, lets have some extraordinary proof please.

If you think the burden is stil on us, you might want to start disproving all other religions in the same maner in order to maintain you own...

  • @liamlloyd77 Assuming you live in the states what a lot of people think they have is the freedom FROM religion when it is in fact freedom OF religion. Believe it or not atheism is a religion too. You will never never be free from religion. But the way a lot of atheists see it your "freedom" from religion takes precedence over my right to worship how I may.

  • @liamlloyd77 What is religion? something that helps people with their problems? brings people closer together. I agree with you, a lot of bad things have been done for the name of religion and wether you believe it or not those people will be punished, but to say just as much evil hasn't been done by unreligious people is ignorant. Last I checked, knocking and talking isn't smashing down doors, you must live in a Muslim country where you either accept their believe or die

  • I also want to say, for all the atheists and those that say that Mormons are false, I find it funny how hard you fight against it if its sooooo wrong... why waste your time fighting it? Its like when you try to lie or cheat, you get so defensive to try to get someone else to go along with it. Because you know if you get found out for being a liar or cheater there will be negative consequences.

  • @masterjedidavidsharp Religion effects our lives too. We're sick of you smashing our doors down trying to convert us. Religion brings segregation to humanity. People look at each other as gentile and Jew etc. Why cant we trear each other as humans instead of cattle and infidels? Quit this religious bullshit and we will quit exposing it for what it is

  • @masterjedidavidsharp - Because all human beings have a natural law written in their hearts by God so falsehood is something that the vast majority of people find repulsive. The Mormon church is false and that is why so many non-Mormons of all persuasion dislike the Mormon church. Does that answer your question?

  • @masterjedidavidsharp I find it funny how missionaries lie to recruit sheeple. In their discussions do they reveal the seer stone in the hat screwed onto Joe's face translation trick? Or that 8 yrs. after the 1st vision where Joe was told not to join any church he tried to join the Methodist church but was denied? Lamanite DNA is Asian? No BofM archeology? Cannonized racism? Hinkley lies to the press about belief that men become gods?...I didn't think so. Should I continue?

  • @fate241 Good question. First off you can't say "my truth" or "your truth" Truth doesn't change. Otherwise its false. How you can find the truth is you have to ask your self do you want the truth and what are you going to do with it, if you're looking for the truth to try and disprove it, you won't find it. Then you have to be open to it, and go to the source of truth. Which can't be a man. I found truth by developing a relationship with God, that's how you can find it too.

  • Not trying to start an argument here. But I have a question, how do you believe the Book of Mormon came about?

  • "continuation of my previous comment" But the beauty of the gospel is that no matter how weak you are, the Atonement of Christ makes it possible for anyone to begin to recover regardless where they ended up and you pick it up where you left off and continue your journey back to God, just like a sedentary person can start exercising and become strong again, a weakened spirit can become strong again.

  • Being strong in the testimony of Christ requires constant nourishing by the Spirit, it is a basic principle that many fail to grasp it, just like staying fit physically requires constant exercise and good nutrition, no matter how fit you are at one point but if you stop after a while your body will lose the conditioning and it will weaken. The same applies to the spirit, no matter how strong or what position you are, Jesus warned Peter to watch and pray always so Satan wouldn't lead him away.

  • mormon.org

i'm not trying to be rude but just because you don't believe in something doesnt mean you need to try and tear that thing down. if you want to see what our church is really about, please go to this website

  • After attending an LDS church I am very strong in my belief that of all the religions I reject, the mormon religion is one of the most offensive and ignorant.

  • Good, now go your way Ex-mormon.

  • @iamanexmormon I find it interesting that the "I am a Mormon" messages were made to show to people that we aren't weirdos but come from all walks of life. Not to bring any church down where as your messages only purpose seems to attack the church.

No matter how hard you fight you won't change what's truth and what's not. And weather you're right or I am I guess we'll find out one day. Until then, I know where to find truth and I hope you can find it as well.

  • @masterjedidavidsharp Our purpose is stated on our website: "...video series is dedicated to sharing the stories of those who have courageously followed their own path out of Mormonism. We hope that their struggles and accomplishments will help others to have compassion and respect for those who have made this journey."

Personally, I believe that the LDS method of finding truth is incomplete, and I agree with my close friend Dustin on this topic:

    watch?v=JciFDrhnVzs

  • @masterjedidavidsharp what is the truth? where did you find your truth?

  • @masterjedidavidsharp The videos are here to comfort others going through the process of leaving the LDS church. Many non-believers are shunned and rejected by family. It is comforting to know there are other people who have gone through the same struggles, and are living happily.

  • @masterjedidavidsharp Who cares if not every mormon is a weirdo? Does that make it any more true? Any less viciously racist and hateful?

  • @iamanexmormon so what is the basis of your psychological manipulation reasoning?

Leaving it to you to ask of God if it's true or not? is manipulation?

  • @iamanexmormon So, let me ask you this, what is your proof that it is false?

  • @masterjedidavidsharp Let's start with psychology. Do you believe the true church of God would use psychological manipulation to retain membership (that looks similar to other religious movements such as Scientology or the Jehovah's Witnesses)? Would that bother you?

I feel like understanding the church's methods of indoctrination began to open my eyes to the very real possibility that I believed for psychological reasons and not because it was true. Do you think this is a possibility?

  • @iamanexmormon I've been a member of the LDS church for over 30 years and nobody "coerced" me into joining; I did all the research and studying and pondering and praying myself before I ever even contacted the missionaries and ASKED to be baptized! And nobody uses psychological manipulation to retain membership!

  • @masterjedidavidsharp I know this questions is for @iamanexmormon and I hate answering a question with a question but, how do you know it's true? You can't just say "faith" and let that be the end of discussion. Look, I consider myself agnostic, don't believe in god but not excluding that there might be one. The fact is I don't know, nobody does. We live in the 21st Century not the 18th, 17th, 16th, etc. In the 20th we've made scientific break throughs. Evolution is proven.

  • @masterjedidavidsharp the point I am trying to make is that nobody really knows if there is a God. Yeah, yeah, it's all based on "faith". Do you believe in unicorns or fairies, I don't, but I'm sure there's a posibility they might exsist, we just don't know. Don't get me wrong, having faith in God is a good think, but has also led to bad as well, 9/11, WWII, Crusades. I look at religion or believing in God like "The Matrix", once you know it's not real, you know you are free

  • @masterjedidavidsharp You have the burden of proof. What proof over than subjective personal experience and a text written about a guy looking into a hat to read prophetic plates do you have?

  • @iamanexmormon If you really believe there is no evidence to support what the church teaches then you are blind

  • @masterjedidavidsharp I said "extraordinary evidence". I would be a fool to claim that there is no chance of someone finding evidence (the low hanging fruit you chose to criticize) when given millions of followers and 180 years to do so. But the evidence is exactly the kind you would expect if you were actually dealing with something that is false. Extraordinary evidence is needed for extraordinary claims.

Chiasmus? My brother wrote a software program that identifies chiasmus in every book.

  • @masterjedidavidsharp Did you know that you can find chiasmus in J Smith's personal letters? If J Smith knew nothing about chiasmus then why do we find it in his non-revelatory personal correspondence?

In the D&C why is it that Jesus more often than not talks in grammatically incorrect 'King James Version' English? Surely, a 'god' should know his grammar?!

Why was it necessary for J Smith to marry thirty-three women, including a 14 year old girl and married women (polyandry)?!!

  • @masterjedidavidsharp Name one piece of evidence that supports the outlandish claims in the book of mormon

  • @KoutetsuTenshin The Book of Mormon supports the Book of Mormon.

    Checkmate.

  • @telemarker93 I HATH BEEN DEFEATED!!

  • @telemarker93 this is a joke right?

  • @djturnedmeup25 Yes, It's like using the word in the definition, which is a logical fallacy.

  • it is sad.... but in the words of Peter, were will "you" go? if not to Christ then where? have the courage to kneel down and pray, all questions have answers.

simpsons? south park? come on youre better thant that

  • @SpecOpsDoctor

I don't think that two cartoon shows broke his faith. I wanted to be a Jesuit when I was a boy, it was learning more about Catholicism that made me stop going to Church. I find this guy's story fascinating because so much of it could have been my own.

  • @diamadtiel So when you want to know about a Ford you talk to the Chevy and Toyota dealer?

  • @masterjedidavidsharp If you want a full and honest review, find a 3rd party to honestly evaluate the vehicle. Ford, Chevy and Toyota will all be biased. If a third party review is unavailable, I would recommend speaking with both Ford and Chevy to see if they have information that will be helpful in your decision. Method of finding answers is extremely important. But we aren't talking about cars, we are talking about extraordinary claims with no extraordinary evidence to support these claims.

  • its as if all mormons have no clue what the religion actually is and when the smarter ones actually read up on the religion they think "oh well this is bullshit"

i live in utah and have experienced first hand how mormons brain wash everybody who goes to that damned church and it pisses me off

only10% of the mormons actually read the book and understand what its saying

and the real sad part is when they cover up the racism and hate that they believe to be true with lies and excuses

    fuck mormons

  • 128 bummed mormons still believing in their trashy religion. haha.

  • I bet he has a beast happy trail

  • Thanks for sharing!! God's Grace is still alive and well, but not funneled through a man-made religion! The truth will set you free!!

  • I'm sorry you didn't get the answers you were searching for, perhaps it's because the LDS church is all about crowd control, tithing, and member retention. Seeking the truth about Mormons from Mormons only is the dumbest lack of logic.

  • I'm sorry to hear you weren't given answers to your questions. Often we aren't ready to accept the truths we seek and sometimes it's just a test of our faith. You went seeking information from sources outside the church and found what is to be expected. The members of the church do make mistakes. Even divine guidance doesn't stop people from making their own bad choices. Does the church trumpet these mistakes made by it's members, of course not. I'm a Mormon and wish you well in your life.

  • @jonnno100 you sound like a scriptedand brainwashed hypocrite. Did you stand in front of the mirror and practice saying that? Maybe this guy figured it wasn't for him. Stop with the "he wasn't ready for truth" line. What a "mormon" thing to say.

  • @AntonTheSpot I'm sorry you feel you need to stereotype me. I responded honestly and sincerely to the things Robert said in his video. Robert said he found things he didn't like about the church, I was just expressing that since none of us are perfect it shouldn't be a shock to learn that even Mormons have done bad things in the past.

  • Love this! I'm an Ex-Christian and I feel the same way (though I could be a bit happier yet I suppose).

Plus - I'm sick of all those Mormon adds on Youtube! It's like they're trying to make you think they're not all a bunch of loopy people - well here's a wake up call... "You are a bit loopy, we all are..." XD lol

  • 今、無神論になっただろうか?

  • lol 初めに「私の名前はROBOTって言ったと思った」 ex-mormon robot

  • I read, I am an Ex Moron

  • The fake smile f,ake happiness and the obvious strategy to appear as normal as possible screams you have have left the Mormon church but you are still a Mormon

  • @2002lees yeah, once mormon, forever mormon. same as in the mafia.

  • @2002lees Still a mormon? I don't get it. How so?

  • @2002lees Just like an Alcoholic in recovery will always be a "Recovering Alcoholic". It's a long hard road out of Hell (religion is the true Hell)...

  • as if youd go to the trouble to make a movie like this you fucking gay cunts whats the fucking point? its completely useless lol, ps heroin

  • @heefy200 Its a counter channel to the "I'm a Morman" channel on Youtube.

  • funny how everyone wants to convert us. god is love. conversion suggests that im not on the right path. Love is greater than than religion. we live and learn.

  • Thanks for your sincerity, it´s what counts a lot. Krsna will show you the path if you are worth it. Haribol!

  • There should be some "I'm an ex Christian/Muslim/Jew" videos.

  • @Ebvardh +1

  • I do not understand how you can have a complete testimony of Christ and you serve and honorable full time mission, then how can you give it all up for your arrogance? i do not understand.

  • @SuperImsoboredman It's a gradual process.

First we question something and realize that the holy scriptures can't answer it.

Then we question the validity of the holy scriptures themselves.

Then we realize they are not fully reliable, and it they're what set our parameters for god, then we know nothing of god.

If we know nothing of god, we essentially have no reason to believe in him or any stories relating to him.

So, we don't believe in divinity and as such, we have no testimony of Jesus.

  • @SuperImsoboredman In short, indoctrination a la converse.

  • "Im A Mormon" YT videos, 4,290. "I'm an ex Mormon" YT videos: 23,800. This is what happens when social media backfires. You lose Mormons.

  • I LIKE TURTLES.

  • I wish all these videos would say if they fell for another lie, or if they left religion all together.

  • It's such a blessing you came back to the true church! God bless you for rejecting the false cult of mormonism!

  • @hortulanus94 This video is not for any religion.

  • @Ebvardh yes it is. It's propaganda for a cult.

  • @hortulanus94 Which is?

  • let me just say i am LOVING these videos

  • must be nice not to be mormon

  • However, why come down on Mormons? that is ridiculous, because they don't mean any harm to anyone, and they are pretty nice people who'd give you the shirt off their backs if they had it. The I'm Mormon videos are just trying to show people their diversity within the Mormon Church. I love my family, and they are a bunch of Mormons. I wouldn't want to change their religion for all the money in the world.

  • @margietyrrell I feel you. I have the same thing. Why not just stop pointing fingers at each other in this rock called Earth?

  • @JohnyFilms20 that was freaking awesome. You know, maybe one day I will share my experiences on what it is like to be a Mormon, and ex-Mormon, a Mormon again, and then a Born Again Christian. What have I realized in 39 years? everybody is right, everybody is wrong, we seek a particular sect because we like the way that material feels, some like feathers, some like leather, some like polyester, velvet, etc. some is rough, some is smooth. regardless, make it your own! :)

  • I believe this guy was once Mormon, (I'm Mormon, btw) and he just made a decision to not be Mormon, and I don't find anything wrong with that. It is true that alot of Mormons don't want to believe that their kin may walk away from the Mormon church, and it is sad that Parents may make their children feel as if they don't have a choice to be who they want to be. I had the unusual experience of learning a new theology as a born again christian as well.

  • A churches stature can be judged by the amount of enemies it has! I have been investigating the LDS church and have found that all of these videos that attack the church are contrived lies and their aim is to trick and mislead the public about what the Church of Jesus Christ is all about,, The forces behind these videos are the enemies of Christianity, the enermies of Jesus Christ,, If you want to know the truth about the Mormon faith please visit mormon.org and lds.org and learn the truth.

  • being lied to... yep, I've been there.

  • Well done Robert ★★★★★

    Katalyzt

  • He's absolutely right...honestly and integrity is ABSOLUTELY missing. Very sad because they convince you otherwise.

  • so is all of the money that is tithed to the mormon church donated to charity? otherwise your analogy falls flat it would be like me asking people at the local ward to help me move house and a couple of them helping themselves to my dvd collection at the end.

  • I wonder why so many people spend so much of their lives trying to prove others wrong, or putting others down. Why do people live a life of scarcity where they feel its important to tear down the beliefs of others? Why can't we just live the way we want and be accepting and tolerant of others beliefs, these videos do no good. Produce videos that create something positive. Its like the politicians that can criticize the problems, yet they don't have the answers.

  • @bertdogg77 Mormon missionaries spend two years of their lives telling others their churches are in a state of apostasy; That they have no authority. Until 1990 they believed Protestant pastors were hirelings of Satan. The claims of mormonism are so fantastic. They seem to want to put these fantastic claims into the public arena (which if true have serious implications for those of other beliefs or none) and yet if anyone challenges them they scream persecution.

  • Who said mormons dont believe in honesty and integrity? lol You do not have the facts to prove yourself

  • And that's how the book of Mormon was written dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb...

  • Did you know that the Bishops keep record of every sin you have ever done?

I was ex-ed and then re-baptized., only to have the bishop read back to me my confessions of 30 years ago. They keep record of this? It is UN-biblical. I could not see Jesus doing that.

  • @jillian2u2 Indeed; Love keeps no record of wrongs.

  • Lookit! I can post a comment without it being pre-approved, unlike with those unamerican "...and I'm a Mormon" videos!

    LONG LIVE FREE SPEECH!!

(and thank you for your story, Robert! It's good to know that The Simpsons and South Park actually have an impact!)

  • Comment removed

  • faith in religion is stupid

  • robert never meet an ex that dosnt talk about there mission, interesting thing though you served a mission is your testmony that you testfied as truth just a nother mask for not wanting to live by the churchs standerds , also the church never hides things men do that and only men the lord is always open cheers bro email some time cjvowlesbball@hotmail.com

  • Life isn't about everything making sense, rather humbling ourselves to seek out and embrace the will of God. To think we know better than God is dangerously naive. The Church is Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) is based upon personal revelation directly between man & God. All on earth are free to pursue a personal relationship with God through prayer, and if they do so humbly, with true desires to put His will above their own, they will be lead to more truth and maximum happiness.

  • The LDS church does not cover anything up. If you can't handle the doctrine that's your issue. You should move on with your life.

  • Mormonism is a cult. Lets face it ! How can anyone believe in something that was founded by a charlatan. He was a desperate, unemployed and made the whole thing up after sleeping it off under a rock ! Lies lies and deception, the mormon moron church !

  • ha ha ha ha, I believe in Honesty too ! and thanks who ever wrote that comment on Voldemort, you made my day !

  • all of these people were raised a mormon.

  • 0:44 -- the meat never came.

It's so sad that I arrived at that lol...

  • I farted

  • "Hi, I am robert and i never was a mormon because I didn't read the book of mormon and sincerely ask god if it was true or not, I just blindly did what i was told until one day I noticed a sin I didn't want to repent for and the ward noticed, so I left the church because nothing was keeping me there."

  • this is sad. how can a person who served a mission, had a testimony, and was raised in the church just leave it all behind? after all the blessings you've received, u just decide that everything u know is wrong and make believe! and @mattakudesu just because you think you're free from guilt and you're "seeing everything for the first time" because there is "no god" to you...you should and do know better. this video and series is pitiful, so i really don't care if you vote me down.

  • @luckysems your words will not affect mattakudesu right now. he is like adam hiding behind a bush, running away from heavenly father. he has opened his mind, but closed his heart. I don't think he had a testimony to begin with. . . or he fell so deep into the arms of temptation that satan took away his testimony.

  • @punksush1 i'm not exactly sure if your comment on my comment is positive or negative but the way im taking it is in a positive way. correct me if im wrong, but either way wat ur saying is most likely true. not that im free of sin and am able to judge someone but honestly, mattakudesu is a butt. he's totally giving off the idea, as are all of these vids, that mormons are freaky little peer pressure-ers that have all these stupid rules and are secretly satan worshippers. NEWS FLASH PPL! we r NOT!

  • @luckysems posts: "...how can a person who served a mission, had a testimony, and was raised in the church just leave it all behind?" Perhaps because he discovered thathe LDS church is a fun, full of good activities, self-improvement, family-oriented, LIE. You can do all of the above without being a gullible believer in man-made myth, fairytales and superstition and wasting time, gas and money acting in laughable, worthless rituals.

ALL religions, all the myriad flavors, are myth.

  • @luckysems i vote you thumbs up!

  • Dude, I wanna wake board too.

  • This guy is not mormon....and never has been. This whole channel is foll of trollery!

  • @SynikaI "This guy is not mormon....and never has been. This whole channel is foll of trollery!"

I love how you guys always do this - "oh, he ws never one of us!". Do you have any evidence of this? Or is it just whining? I know a number of ex mormons myself, and I assure you that stories like this are genuine and common.

You've convinced yourself of this fairy tale, and you don't want to hear about people who stop believing, because it makes you feel foolish for believing.

  • @OccamKant I'm not Mormon, nor ever have been. But anyone I know that is Mormon devote their life to their religion like nothing else. It amazes me. I would join the church but I just don't have it in me, I'm not strong enough to meet the requirements.

  • @SynikaI For goodness sake don't put yourself down like that. These people have such a strong commitment to a nutty cult of madmen because they are brainwashed from a young age or are easily led as adults into following sociopathic fruit-loops. Of course they are committed, they are mentally ill. Thank the source of all life that you haven't fallen for their crap, your life would be one helluva mess if you had.

    Take care.

  • @CalumGilhooly If its crap, then why are Mormons so happy?

  • @SynikaI Junkies high on drugs are happy, people brainwashed into a euphoric state are happy, (or think they are). A quick glance at your channel appears to show that you are a gun-happy sex junkie , (nothing wrong with that) so maybe you shouldn't go getting on any moral high horses. Maybe you should be asking "Why are ex-Mormons so much happier than the brainwashed brethren-of-the-damned they left behind?"

  • @CalumGilhooly A sex junkie? First of all I am 18 never had sex, and I have never done drugs.

You really think junkies high on drugs are "happy"? You truly don't know the real meaning of happiness then.

  • @SynikaI, OK then, a porn junkie, is that better? I didn't say that junkies are really happy but they sure aren't happy if they don't get their fix. I know the real meaning of happiness and I sure as hell know that being a brainwashed drone in a crappy religious cult sure isn't my idea of happiness. They may think they are happy but then they are just following their programming. Robots being told they are happy.

  • standing ovation for these ex-mormon vids. don't blame god for the ego-motivated lies of charlatans like joseph smith. he just wanted to have sex with a lot of women so he made up his own religion that would let him do that, and pay him besides.

make up your own religion, your own relationship with god (or whatever you call it) is what matters.

  • Maybe they became rational reasonable adults after experiencing moronism~

  • its so great that people are starting to realize that they are being lied to and brainwashed by the church. when i first became an atheist, life almost instantly got better because it made so much more sense. its like walking around in a thick fog your entire life and all of a sudden having the fog lifted. seeing so clearly for the first time what we humans actually are is kind of bewildering but its so satisfying.

  • @mattakudesu We don't share the same personal beliefs, but I totally agree with you. I had been an Atheist since I could tie my shoes. There isn't room to go into why my ideas changed, but they did. I do believe in God, but I'm very against organized religion. My ideas of what God is, & what religion says He can be are very different. After I came to the decision to openly oppose organized religion, the difference in how I felt was like night and day. I definitely felt that clarity you describe!

  • @mattakudesu I agree having a veil lifted is definitely uplifting, but how does atheism give you happiness? I honestly want to know. Forgive me if I sound crude, but from an atheistic worldview, life has no purpose. Our solar system, as well as our universe, are destined to one day be destroyed by themselves. Truthfully, I have trouble seeing how anyone who is an atheist could not be a nihilist as well. Unless you believe that one day man will achieve an utopia? Let me know, I am very interested

  • @ItalianGregory when you realize that this life is the only life you have, you tend to value it more. and not only your life, but others lives too. i have never in my life been a more caring person since i became atheist. and since i have studied science and biology, i am just blown away by the realization of what i really am and how the universe works. its not that atheism gives you happiness, but its the freedom to see things for what they are and not what someone tells you.

  • @mattakudesu i hope when you die, and die you shall, i hope for you to be burried deep into the earth and you grow into a beautiful tree and a burly Lumberjack cuts you down, turns your fine wooden body into paper and prints the Bible on you. and your words save the lives of many. GOD bless you.

  • @emstriker i would rather have a childrens book printed on my pages. oh wait i forgot, the bible IS a childrens book.

  • @mattakudesu your defense mechanism by calling the bible a childrens book is hysterical. these ex mormon videos arent well put together and dont deliver a positive message. i feel sorry for all you Ex Mormons. its so sad to see this. i Bet NON of you self righteous people thought of praying and asking if there is no god or if the church isnt true. which if you did you wouldnt be in the situation you are in. these videos are childish.

  • @emstriker its not a defense mechanism, its the truth. to believe the things in the bible, you have to have a mind similar to a child, which is gullible and ignorant. you can feel sorry for all these ex mormons if you want, but im sure they will tell you that their lives are great now. i used to be christian for 23 years before i began doubting. i prayed to god to show me that he existed for months and cure my doubt. but nothing happened. so then i looked into religion and found out its a scam.

  • @mattakudesu religion is not a scam. ive seen religion do amazing things, save lives, soften hearts, heal. you are lost and i am sorry for you. and you may say i am lost but that the beauty of life and freedom of choice. but im done with this conversation you have a wonderful life.

  • @emstriker if religion isn't a scam why do so many churches ask for money? its obvious that they don't use it all for charity, does god really need the cash?

  • @androidk18 your ignorance with this question is blinded they dont ask for money like people begging.idk how they do it in other churches but in our church it says were supposed to give 10% called tithing.the money obviously isnt going to god.in our church it goes to building buildings, temples, helping families in our church.etc. it goes back to the members, did you know that one of the main supporters in the relief of hurricane katrina was the mormon church?and its not only members

  • @emstriker that we help. our church is so giving that we will help other people. next time you move from one house to another ask your friends to help and see how many give up their saturday to help you. then when no one shows up go to an lds ward building and ask and see at least 10 grown men and young men there to help. Mormons arent as bad as everyone thinks,

  • @emstriker It maybe true that mormons are kind and helpful. However, having the mormons help you move house in no way changes the fact that their church is false.
