@myconius Coincidentally I just got off the line with Scott Snyder from a webchat. He's a very talented guy with a lot of passion. I'm only familiar with Amer. Vampire though.
@bigtymer32 It varies. I don't like to cover the same thing more than a couple times just to give a feeling about the series and then move on. There's a lot of stuff out there that no one writes about or talks about and others that are saturated. My Batman reviews get the most hits; Buffy gets the most comments; but they are book that are covered a million places.
great review but i think grant morrison's writing is only great when you have entire volume because he's just isn't a great single issue writer, i.e his doctor who stories
Grant Morrison is always enjoyable and I do agree with you about how they are releasing the books. People really need to read them in order of Batman #687, Red Robin #1, and then Batman and Robin #1.
Heya. Grant Morrison is THE GREATEST! Blammy enough for you?
Didn't you find the Winnick story just a little bit too much? I don't think I needed those extra pages of crying. Still great though. I hope he stays on Batman for a while, but yeah. I totally loved the Morrison book more.
See, that's the difference in readers. Maybe it's a girl thing. I needed them to finally cry and acknowledge the loss. I was so annoyed that it was just adrenaline and panic while the city burned. This was just another Jean Grey death or Aunt May kidnapping. This was huge and Alfred and the boys needed to show some emotion, no matter how temp the situation really is.
have you read any of the Batman Inc books or any of the new DC relaunch titles?

@myconius Dropped Wonder Woman after a few issues. Kept Catwoman and Birds of Prey. I'll drop JL Dark after issue 6.

@amberthestylist Catwoman is one of my favorites!
Tony Daniel's Detective Comics are fun but they are not Detective stories!
Scott Snyder's run on Batman is decent, but he needs to pick it up a bit.
i dropped Batwoman and Batwing after #3. they were more potent than knockout gas!
