@bombermanwinner well, no... no actually, you have to be a total moron to brick your wii using homebrew, if you go around messing with system critical IOS files (which there are records of which ios's are critical to which system menus) or if you power off the wii, during a specific NAND modifying processes, then sure you can brick your wii, but as far as far as basic stuff like emulating games, and playing Homebrew Games, its safe to say you probably won't brick. also about the warrenty...

@Jostyheaven yup theres something called the homebrew browser on the homebrew channel that lets you download emulators for games like a n64 or a ps1 emulator and stuff like that and you need a sd card to have the homebrew

@Jostyheaven games and emulators will never brick your wii but installing something that messes with the core of the wii could . it may be wise if your wii is version 4.2 if its not upgrade it now before installing homebrew

@Jostyheaven yeah thats ok because the newest version is 4.3 so they also had to update that so if you somehow lost homebrew search for the newest version like maybe later there will be vO.9 but its not necessary to download that version because you already have hombrew on your wii also if you later they might release 4.4 and if you do upgrade you wont lose homebrew or the emulators or anything

@diabloscar1 .. lo que tienes instalado es solamente laaplicacion "homebrew"... en esta aplicacion deves de cargar las demas aplicaciones que quieras en el caso de este video tiene cragadas varias aplicaciones.. una de las que abre se llama "homebrew browse" que , al igual que todas las de mas la bajo de internet , lo que te pasa ati es que no le has cargado ninguna aplicacion a to homebrew , una vez que las cargues (por medio de tu sd )podras abrirlas.

That's called bricking.

It is possible, but it's not necessarily because you installed something more than once but rather as a failure somewhere once the app was installing.

Check around forums though, because with this the success rate has been extremely high.

IDK about changing the theme. But if I remember correctly there are already different launchers that you can use instead of the Wii's system menu. Just like IRShell on the PSP.

I used the Twilight Hack, it was even easier than updating to a Dark_Alex release on my PSP.

I haven't had any problems with it bricking. At one point I thought I bricked it, but ended up it just froze (so I just restarted the system).

"Bricking" means when you pretty much screwed a hack up so bad, that when your done your system can't function like it's suppose to. It becomes nothing more than a literal paper weight, or brick if you will.
