The only reason it got killed off is because the idiots in command of GM USA were losing money hand over fist, and Pontiac were the first in line as a lossmaker. The new American "Police Caprice" is really a rebadged Holden Caprice, and that will start hitting police stations across America in 2011, as a much needed update to the Crown Victoria and front wheel drive Impala.
