If you put a human in a solitary cell with no other humans to talk to and let orcas come and visit twice a day bringing food as long as you performed tricks. I could guarantee that in those times of interaction the human would look happy. Any contact with another living thing would be better than the hours spent alone.We keep her penned up for one thing only MONEY. Shame on Miami Seaquarium. Shame.

why do you think that lolita is sad? she might die here but, she'd die in the wild too! except earlier.. and besides, i know that everyone thinks they're sad but look at the orcas and thier trainers?! they have an amazing chemistry ! do you think they force them to leap out of the water with such energy? no ! you cant force a 4 ton dolphin to push you in the air and wave at fans. its easy to think they look sad, but really look at them when you're not playing depressing music lol
She looks sad at 2:43, I think when people go there they see a magnificent animal, and I'll atmit it's beautiful to see a orca jump or breach, but people don't look close enough and see how sad she is!
Her tank is so small, its iligel, her mate commited suicide, her tank is dirty, and her she hasnt seen another orca in 31 years. i dont know wut u see, but she is not happy
Lolita is taken care of very well, the only problems are-she has no other orca to comunicate with, her tank is way too small, and she doesnt get enogh attention. other than that she is healthy and she is fed enough. otherwise she would be dead...the only thing we can do for her is have her be moved to SeaWorld FL. a short ride..

Hugo was not Lolita's mate. In fact he was her presumed brother because they were both born to the same pod/family.
