  • I so like your style! Not just your playing, but your humorous self-deprecation. Deep down you know how good you are.

I would give you a job in my band any day (except that would put me out of a job and I'm band-less at the moment anyway).

Anyway, on account of how good you make it sound, I’m now hunting for a GT-5…

  • @dajojojo Hehe, Thanks a lot man. Kind words indeed. However, I know i'm just an average player. Thanks again :)

  • Where i can find patches for Gt 5 Plz :s ???

  • Dudes - just subbed to Mr. Leeislee for his excellent work. Not sure how I didn't find in my previous research. I've had GT-5 for 13 years or so and right now I'm working with my live set up. Any feedback appreciated. Mostly routing-wise. I've tried all methods. So far best is Send to mono amp. then headphone out split to 2 channels in PA. like L/Mono/R for audience. HUGE! I had awful luck with L/R out which I'd prefer. Send seems to defeat L/R out. Anyone else with this experience? thx!

  • @Blues4Winter Yeah, i've used that setup live and in stereo you can soung massive!

  • Leeislee Hi: Some time ago I have a gt-5 and I am really very happy. For several months I have a job that requires a sound like Joe Satriani but with much less economic resource. I see that you have achieved something very, very similar to the GT-5, it may ask you for the patch shown on the screen as you did with other sounds. From already thank you very much and I congratulate you on your task. From Buenos Aires, a cordial greeting.

  • @JeanValjean335 Sorry mate, it was so long ago i have no idea what patch i used or if i still have it!

  • Hi could you post the settings for your lead sound on this track?? :-)

  • @bazza990

Sorry mate, it was so long ago i have no idea what patch i used or if i still have it!

  • What a shame? I thought maybe you could give me a hand. Well, thanks and I'm also for anything you need.

  • @JeanValjean335 probably too late on this but I believe (if you have the unit, not sure from your post) the SLDN Lead patch might be a good place to start. It will take some editing. (compression sustain, pre-amp probably)None others come to mind.

  • @Blues4Winter I'll keep looking through myold patch books...if i find it ill stick it up although it's not the best tone ever made on the 5!

  • Hi could you post the settings for your lead sound on this track?? :-)

  • Would be cool if you showed how your fingers play... would be interested for tips..

  • Man, I love this blue box! Have my GT-5 for about just 2 years now, and I wouldn't let it go anyway!

Nice play, nice tone, nice feel!

you're right about "the tone is in the fingers", a dull can't get a nice tone even with the most powerful setup....

    Keep walking!

  • Man, it's a rarity these days when someone is modest about his playing but you're way too modest when saying ... "can't play one single note as good as him"....

    I disagree...

  • @deekayman68

Hehe, thanks man but my playing really isn't anything special.

  • @leeislee dude your shit is pretty dam good . it has feel , and that is what is important...

  • what ibanez guitar did you use?any pick up modifications?

  • @ddirtz666

    Ibanez s620gkx...no mods

  • GREAT

    Thank you for Sharing !!!

    David
