Great job, that looks really good. A good word of advice would be to use liquid latex to harden it up a bit though so it's not as prone to getting messed up. Also, you can brush a bit of baby powder over the makeup to set it so it won't come off or run on anything.

The cut itself could use some work, but since you did it on your own arm it's always harder. I'd stay away from cheap foam brushes, artists brushes work much better and are not that expensive. Also a nice way to make capalaries look burst is to pick out peices of your sponge until there are no flat surfaces left on it and then use the red makeup.
