Even though the model shown is the LS 700hL Hybrid version (except for the beige model ... that was an actual LS 460) Lexus hit a home run with the LS. This this is friggin amazing! I got to sit in the 2010 LS 460 at the Washington Auto Show. The only car in the world I can actually say I'm in love with. Don't be mad German cheerleaders than the LS mops the floor with the Germans ... you'll get over it. ^_^

Mercedes, Audi, and BMW are best from Germany. Thing is Lexus is equivalent or even superior in some instances than the three makers from Germany. All cars are great.

tell me about it. I'm a BMW lover and always will be, but to get all this for its price ($10000 less than others) maannn! Also, I like the smooth & curvy look compared 2 the bold look (well the s-class looks sweet). It looks like the camry.

Not really its just that those companies don't put their most advance technology in their flagships right away so they can be first. BMW has a more advanced autopark and better brake regeneration technology, not only that the LS is just a copy of the 7 series overall. The S-Class has better integration overall with its voice commands and COMMND system. Lexus also has the tackiest trim ever seriously the digitial clock could come from a 1996 Toyota Camry.

Uhh here look up BMW autopark and look up Top Gear S class 2007. Anyways I've driven one of the new S classes and the voice integration is amazing. The auto park system is for the next generation 7. Too bad I bought myself a 750Li right before, but oh well.

Look Lexus says the LS 460L will accelerate in 5.4 from 0-60. It can't do that its more like a 5.9 and have you ever driven the new LS? The LS goes around a corner like a harpooned whale. The Germans build the better air suspensions for sport period. As for the most advanced tech in their flagship statement is true. BMW put nightvision first in their 5 series and same for Lexus. Autopark was first a feature in the Toyota Prius, which parent company Toyota than transplanted.

Yeh true, the germans r pretty good wiv responsive handling, rides, suspensions and drving appeal. nyways although BMW is one of the best lux brands but they r certainly an ugly car. i cant say anyfin about the handling coz im not an experienced enuff driver 2 criticize on handling. lol there r plenty of worlds first new hi-tech fings in lexus.

I mean yeah I have a 750Li myself I mean its an acquired taste. I mean I will admit as technological piece of work the LS is brilliant. It basically can drive itself with Lane Keep Assist and whatever they call active cruise control. I just wouldn't take an LS460L if I really wanted to go driving on a mountain road. Motorway cruising is a different story.

Not quite. The S550 is technically superior to the LS460L. I love MB products, but I must admit the LS600Lh shits on the S600 and 760iL.
