It may be my hearing but you should record your music some place that has better equipment. Sounds like a 15 year old cassette tape. Great job, though.

The bongo volume is off. Not sure about your reverb settings either; is there less on voice than the instruments, esp. snare, in pt. 2?

-But Great Effort! The guy certainly has a lot of room in his voice and can belt, so kudos for trying!

I think you could eq the voice to emphasize more of the low mids. Dk how you'd get that dry-but-in-your-face vocal quality he has, though.

The guitar in the beginning is a 12-string, I think.

His acoustic version of the song is even cooler.
