  • D2 is a tool steel ... that's what road crews use when they are grading your roads; no stainless in that lot.

  • i have only one question.... whats a "naaf" ?

  • чё не по Русский то все?!

  • stainless steel is also usually less hard because it has to contain a lot of elements that help with corrosion resistance but it's a drawback regarding other properties of the steel.

  • @mrkiky That used to be true because nickel was the main thing used to provide corrosion resistance, but many modern tool steels (many of which are stainless) are just as good as high carbon steel.

  • @wormfood868 I doubt that. I can't say I have see any stainless tool steels around.

  • @mrkiky S30V,S60v,S90V,ZDP189,154CM,20CV are the ones I can name off the top of my head and I know I'm missing some. Admittedly S90V is usually considered too brittle for making knives S30V,ZDP189,and 154CM are fairly popular for knives.

  • nice vid indeed. this should be put on 4wdtvtube channel

  • Perfect for instant chicken-plucking!
