  • I don't see why everyone needs to kick up a fuss about the Thermal compound not being shown as installed - I for one, took a look at the tech's careful building and proper antistatic measure(s) taken, then safely assumed that the Thermal compound was already applied :)

And yes,, to assume can make an Ass out of u and me (If you get the saying) :)

  • @produKtNZ

Thanks! It was annoying me a little bit as well ; )

  • @EurocomTechnology greatextreme products and all, but as some already have mentioned....

WHAT'S WITH THE UBER-SHITTY EUROCOM SITE DESIGN.You sell suche extreme laptops and your site is like the worst i've ever seen!

  • don't forget guys that termal paste is extremly toxic! so think about washing hands after fininshing set-up

  • Hi please ! Could you tell me where to get on HD6970M for Imac ? I mean OWC parts thanks !

  • @TheBMW320cabrio You can purchase a 6970M directly from Eurocom or go to stores.ebay.ca/Razors-Edge-by-Eurocom-Notebooks to make a purchase on Ebay. Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • @EurocomTechnology I came from this store really lol .

They told me they have , but I don't believe they have that which fits for Imac .

I need photos of this item to match and why not , others info too.

  • @TheBMW320cabrio If your Imac uses a MXM 3.0b graphics interface then the card will fit. If you send me your email address I can send you pics and info. Thanks.

  • i would stick with amd as nvidia run waaaay to hot for laptops.. (had 3 laptops dead so far = all nvidia)

never again though (will stick with amd now on)

  • Silly dude, what's up with the anti-static band? Real men cry, after they fry their PCB's...lol jjk, nice video!

  • @Fordmuscle No laptop GPU(s) could outperform 2 6990's in crossfire... the most powerful laptop GPU's only match up to the performance of ~ a GTX 460/560.

  • you dont use thermal paste on laptops?

  • @robthatguyx The video was created to act as a guide in what to do with the hardware in order to upgrade the systems graphics performance. Some things were left out to shorten the video. You are correct, when installing GPU's, thermal paste must be applied correctly to the GPU surface. An instruction annotation has been added. Thank you.

  • Whats that green thing attached to your hand at 1.33 ?

  • @bignudge

An antistatic wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet is an antistatic device used to safely ground a person working on very sensitive electronic equipment, to prevent the buildup of static electricity on their body, which can result in electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is used in the electronics industry by workers working on electronic devices which can be damaged by ESD.

  • yay for rap elevator music,

  • Wait you don't apply thermal compound on the gpus?

  • Now that's a gaming laptop if I've ever seen one lol.

  • 4 vans?????

  • do you reckon it could play pacman?

  • Hi, I was woundering if you could help me please. i would really approciate alot. i dont want to do something that will crash my laptop. so i have a HP Compaq 6720s its a 2.00GHz with a 140gb hardrive. can i put a 500gb one or a 1tb??? would that be normal to my laptop, better?? or would it be unhealthy ?? thank you!

  • @dubmonkeyaudio

You should be able to. If you can access the storage drive and remove it, there shouldn't be any reason why you wouldn't be able to upgrade to a higher capacity drive as they are the same physical size.

  • @EurocomTechnology ok thank you very much :))

  • @dubmonkeyaudio Upgrading harddrives and ram is easy It's the graphic card and cpu you need to check exactly what type of board and watts to the graphic card being used to see iof everything is compatible.

  • So when and where can we buy GPU for our laptops? XD

  • @freedombluster You can buy GPUs directly from Eurocom! Please contact Sales@Eurocom.com to make an inquiry.

  • @EurocomTechnology

    Hey, PLEASE HELP!

CAN i add another GTX460m to my TOSHIBA Qosmio X505 Q892?

    PLEASE REPLY THX!

  • @007Dirtrider No, that system only supports one video card. You may be able to replace the 460m with a more powerful GPU though.

  • @EurocomTechnology

So i cannot find a space and make another GTX460m SLI?since it is SLI.

And can i upgrade to a GTX 580m?It fits exactly?

  • @007Dirtrider That system does not support two GPUs, which means it does not support SLI or CrossFireX. Yes, the 580M will fit as they are both MXM 3.0b, but your system may not have the cooling capability to run that card. Or it may not have enough power coming from the PSU to support it.

  • Probley has a battery life of 1 minute when gaming.

  • wow

  • Why game on a laptop anyway? Desk top is no.1

  • can i pput the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6970m im my Asus k53ta

  • only pussies wear anti-static straps

  • @MrAlexkohl1993

Yeah only pussies wear anti-static straps

    >Oh shit it's broken now!

Costumer-support: did you use anti-static straps,

    You:No

    Costumer-support:Not covered

  • @HackedTech yep, im using Anti-static straps.

and. people means "Pussy" is someting good, then why does other people calling their other pussys?

  • Wow, that's pretty cool. This must be one of the only laptops in existence where it is possible to upgrade the video card.

  • @Vortex1988 no its not ...there are more upgrad abel notebooks..

  • @scorpien32 But you can't replace the video card with most laptops on the market. You can usually do ram and the hard drive, but that's it.

  • wouldn't mind having this laptop, but the battery life its like "Unplug, ahh dead"

  • How to assambly an STOVE of 4.000 dollars for winter , right?

  • Stupididity lvl 1000000

  • no blu ray? what a waste

  • @AdityaNair1000

  • @EurocomTechnology this laptop look a lot safe from dust bunnys vs the alineware laptops

  • @EurocomTechnology I knew there would be one

Why wasn't the top of the line model used in the video?

  • @AdityaNair1000 The video was created to show the GPU upgrade procedure. Thank you for your interest in the optical drive options.

  • @EurocomTechnology i'm buying this thing

  • @AdityaNair1000 Great choice! Check out Eurocom.com to customize your perfect system.

  • And yet it still cannot play Solitaire..

  • I thought my MSI GX740 was beast, THIS IS AMAZING!!!

  • That sure is a fancy static strap you have there sir

  • Comment removed

  • @Antdemo Your comment = Stupid

I have a Laptop best thing I ever bought

It's a all in one and uses very little power.

It's way better than what I had before in a huge tower collection so much dust and using alot of electricity.

    Laptop is the future.

  • @Antdemo Thanks for watching. We aim to sway the opinions of people like yourself.

  • @EurocomTechnology Can you give some temps under full load? Maybe some benchmarks?

  • @1966pikupstix

Benchmarks can be found here: eurocom.com/download/benchmarks.html

Unfortunately I don't have any info handy regarding the temps. I'll look and get back to you.

  • @Antdemo thats why they all have fans like desktop right? or would it still get hot

  • @sp3ar2envi have you seen how much heat everything lets out in just a small space? a desktop has a massive difference towards this and heat.. the fans only keep it flowing, if you put a fan in a hot room it won't get cooler.

  • @Antdemo someone seems jelous that for example my m18X can out perform your computer with 2 AMD 6990's no need to tell you the rest dont want you to get more upset than you already are , and why would the laptop overheat when These days hard drives come in Solid state(dont move and colder) , the computers dont work nearly as hard over all and cooling pads under the laptop, plus people travel unlike your poor ass. So gaming on a laptop is not Stupid , Dont hate on stuff for no reason.

  • @Fordmuscle11 well ok since you love judging people by what they wrote.. I've worked with computers for around 10years now, I have 2 jobs, assistant accountant and pc repairs after work.. I too am not to jealous as I have bits and peaces all over the show, and I also have an office .. which my rent costs more then your system in 1month, so quit with ''i have this and that'' atleast people have worked rather then suck it off their parents, unlike you I have a job and a family.. dick

  • @Fordmuscle11 lmfao nice dragon ballz videos , lmfao, bit obvious now of your age

  • @Antdemo id normally agree with you, ive seen tons of heat issues with graphics cards on laptops, but none of them come close to the amount of cooling as on this one, as most laptops usually share a small heatsink with the CPU and GPU.

  • I want to be a millionaire

  • It costs 400,000 $ to run this notebook for 12 seconds!

  • und was kostet die ganze kagge? Pornoklaus^^

  • @KLEINMUSCHIPAUL The Panther 2.0 starts at €2010

  • @EurocomTechnology how heavy is this beast?

  • @klote2314 12 pounds. That figure will also depend on the configuration. 4 storage drives, 2nd GPU and so on will add more weight.

  • are you like tied to the bench ?

  • @abstar57 Yes he is. Being grounded with an anti-static wrist-brace allows the technician to touch electric-shock-sensitive components such as silicone memory chips without causing damage to them.

  • @fleckx ahh k because i haven't seen that before good idea tho

  • I'm sorry sir, I think you may have gotten some computer mixed in with your heat-sink.

  • @biglightbt hahaha sure is a lot of copper.

  • what are the two on the left?

  • @jamalakj The four fans consist of two GPU fans, Processor fan and Chipset fan with their accompanying heat sink.

  • when im rich, i am going to invent my own mini liquid cooling for this computer

  • Intake vents on the bottom?

Good thing I'll never be putting my LAPtop on my LAP.

  • O.o X58 LAPTOP?!

  • DID YOU USE TERMAL PASTE ?

  • ...or just buy a dektop

  • @snaicli Yeah seriously. Like gaming laptops are cool and all, but If you wanna game on a laptop, you're doing it wrong. Laptops are for like business and shit. And that's why theyre not as powerful is because theyre not meant for gaming.

  • Comment removed

  • wow.. that made my computer jealous and turn itself off

  • if I ever get a gaming laptop I would go with crossfire for sure.

  • @frostr1 you do know crossfire eats up power like a monster

and you will likelly only have like a 30 min game at max...

  • damn that's a performance laptop

  • AWESOME!! LAPTOP GAMING!!

  • Comment removed

  • i have a question, i love your custom built laptops and i would like to know, if i am visiting the uk for sometime, can you issue a tax free form with the laptop ? and how does your warranty work ?

    many thanks.

  • What is that on your wrist? Are they like, preventing from you to build up static energy?

  • @todydejaca

An antistatic wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet is an antistatic device used to safely ground a person working on very sensitive electronic equipment, to prevent the buildup of static electricity on their body, which can result in electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is used in the electronics industry by workers working on electronic devices which can be damaged by ESD.

  • @EurocomTechnology Hey, where do u plug in the Antistatic wrist strap? I have one, and I'm about to build my computer and I don't want it to get damaged? I would really appriciate your answer!

  • @ProxetMinecraft

Wrist straps in industry usually connect to Earth Bonding Points via a 4 mm plug or 10 mm press stud, whereas personally owned straps are likely to be connected to ground via a crocodile clip. Make sense?

  • @EurocomTechnology Um... Connected to the ground I know what u mean with that but I don't have most of that stuff.. So I might take the risk to do it without the strap:/ Thanks anyway

  • @EurocomTechnology why is the EUROCOM Homepage is soo shitty designed?

  • @ProxetMinecraft only fags use those, just keep your hand on the metal housing of the computer when installing parts.

  • @NEDMInsane that isn't grounded though, its just weaker, i use a plugged in psu, the ground wire is screwed to the casing

  • Comment removed

  • @dli7319 as long as you and the case are at earth ground your fine.

  • @NEDMInsane Oh okay thanks ^^! Got help from a friend building my computer it's done now!

  • @todydejaca basically, its a wrist strap that gives you the same voltage as the computer you arer working on, so theres no sudden spike in voltage to the pc.

  • @todydejaca no... he is USB powered!

  • where do you even buy mobile graphics cards?

  • no thermal paste?

  • @Verithiell thats what im thinking no no thermal paste wtf

  • @PcTwEekers Must be those thermal pads you also see on ram chips on video cards but still??? Not aplying thermal paste can seriously damage your componentsლ(ಠ益ಠლ

  • @Adarawyn @PcTwEekers @Verithiell The video was created to act as a guide in what to do with the hardware in order to upgrade the systems graphics performance. You are all correct, when installing GPU's, thermal paste must be applied correctly to the GPU surface.

  • LoooL. amd 6970M in laptop OMG

  • looks like shit performs like hell (foralaptop)

  • where is the termal paste ?? ! :@

  • how much this laptop price?

  • @siraj2398

The base price of the EUROCOM Panther 2.0 is $2540 USD, after that it is fully upgradeable to your exact specifications.

  • @EurocomTechnology so its kind of like a desktop

  • @LGReynoldsVG1 The idea behind this system was to offer the performance of a desktop computer with the mobility of a notebook. Desktop Intel Xeon and i7 extreme CPU's are used along with the highest performance mobile technology.

  • Battery life is.... 20 seconds?

  • @produKtNZ

but it need 30 seconnd to start except it use sdd

  • no tim on either cards?

  • what the name of this notebook??? D: o.o

  • this is almost as stong as my gtx 570 sli:PP

  • This is one laptop I wouldn't mind owning! How much does one of these babies cost?

  • @NOXXism

The EUROCOM Panther 2.0 is fully upgradeable so it depends largely on the configuration that you choose.

  • Wow ima have to check into eurocom. I've never heard of them but, this things a beast.

  • low bat!!! don't worry, i brought my charger... oh wait, no outlet... WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?

  • hope he apply thermal grease first because it doesn't look like it

  • Hi, I have an MSI GX740 and I'm looking to upgrade the gfx card from the 5870m to the 6970m. Can you tell me if this is possible and would you be able to provide me with a link to buy the card. I can't find it anywhere D:

    Thanks

  • @LynxMK1

This upgrade is definitely possible. Please contact sales@eurocom.com. Thanks.

  • @LynxMK1

    thats gonna be so beast.

  • ur left hand needs power...???

  • @TheCoolsaf007

An antistatic wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet is an antistatic device used to safely ground a person working on very sensitive electronic equipment, to prevent the buildup of static electricity on their body, which can result in electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is used in the electronics industry by workers working on electronic devices which can be damaged by ESD.

  • @EurocomTechnology oooooo i see

  • @TheCoolsaf007 as what EurocomTechnology said, it is used in the electric industry. It is recommenced to use an ESD strap to discharge any static electric. If any static get's discharged in any of the PC hardware. It could cause that piece of PC hardware to short out or not even work at all

  • lol it's freaking gigantic

  • But, can it run Minecraft?

  • WTF PORNO MUSIC

  • WHY DID U EDIT THIS IN A MAC???????????

  • WOW no thermal paste nice tutorial

  • With 13 minutes of battery life.

  • @ligerman30 If you put this in a laptop, then you shouldnt care for battery time as you'd have the powercable in all the time.

  • @WNxAtlas Desktops are better than laptops always, if you keep your laptop on a leash than your using it wrong. Laptops are good for LAN parties though.

  • @ligerman30 Desktops are WAY better than that indeed. If you are one that likes to go on LANs, then I dont think a lagtop (Yes, laGtop) would be something to look at. mITX and mATX would be better for serious gaming. However, you are given a powercable for a reason, you cant expect to run a gaminglaptop without the powercord.

  • Wha...wait what was that? No seriously, that little thing that you did there at the end? Why???

  • Hello I have a laptop asus n61ja with a video card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730. Please tell me I can replace it with something more powerful.

I apologize for any grammar mistakes, I'm from Ukraine:)

  • @MrIERICHON

Im not sure the exact setup of that system. The 5730 is rated at 26 watts TDP, so if it is possible you will need to find a card that has the same or similar TDP rating to ensure your system can cool the card during operation.

  • @EurocomTechnology

Thanks for the clarification and advice

  • @EurocomTechnology what if the gpu is implemented into the motherboard? like 540m on my asus k53, can it be upgraded then or it is imposible? :D

btw what is under 2 other coolers on left? cpu/cpu's?

  • can i put this on my acer 4820tg?

  • @jufri840615 Your Acer would need to support MXM 3.0b. I would suggest contacting your Acer sales rep.

  • wow all that in a laptop its amazing.

although i can't imagine how HOT this would run, those heatsinks are a fraction of the size of their desktop equivalent.

  • Where the heck can I get my hands on one of these? :3

  • @Nabstylez

You can buy this card directly from Eurocom. 1-877-Eurocom_613-224-6122_sales@eurocom.com

  • @EurocomTechnology I meant the laptop itself. It's nowhere to be found in Sweden. :p

  • @Nabstylez

Same thing! You can buy directly from Eurocom, we ship worldwide. Contact info is the same as above. Thanks!

  • @EurocomTechnology Is now a good time to facepalm? -.- Thanks dude, ofcourse you sell it directly from your website!

  • @Nabstylez

Yes, sir. Let me know if you have any questions.

  • get a real graphics card....*rolls eyes*

  • I have ati Radeon Mobility HD 4250

will i be able to switch that out for this

  • @Scorch052 for the amount you'd be paying for the 6970 you might as well buy a new laptop to begin with

  • @waseem1173 well ya but is it possible

  • @Scorch052 don't know much about various laptop models but i think the motherboard on your current laptop which was made to house a mobile version 4250 would bottleneck the dual 6970's.

  • @Scorch052

As far as I understand it is not possible. The HD 4250 is an on board GPU that cannot be removed and replaced as it is integrated into the RS880M chipset.

  • @EurocomTechnology well fuck

  • @Scorch052

Perhaps it is time for a new system all together?

  • bet the battery lasts for like 2 minutes

  • what is this on your hand?

  • @CJHarrisGTA Anti static wristband

  • Why are there 4 heat sinks? 1 for the cpu, 2 for the graphix, 1 more for the...?

  • @christopher12344321

The fourth heat sink is there to increase the air flow within the enclosure and therefore increase the cooling capacity of the system as a whole. The system supports desktop processors which require a good deal of cooling power.
