You can look up the switch combo on the internet and cheat, most likely what this person did. Or, I'm competely off and they did remember the switch combo from all the years ago. This game took me about 4-6 months to beat when I was in Middle School. Now it takes about afew weeks. haha.

@lol5ify Correction...Riven is the most beautiful game ever. Myst is the predecessor while Riven got everything right in creating a world that was beautiful and intruiging to explore while feeling totally natural and realistic. Myst now looks very computer generated and dated but Riven despite it's low resolution...still looks beautiful.

First time I beat this I needed pen and paper to do everything. Second time I beat this I did it about this fast simply because I didn't need to go through the game to find the answers to everything. Take THAT replayability!

That other guy who done a Speedrun @ 1:45 sent me here, he said this guy is only faster due to his processor being better, but this guy is clicking faster and everything, it's really easy to see this Speedrun is better.

It's one of the fun things about Myst, that once you have acquired the necessary knowledge you need while playing through the entire game as normal, it's quite easy to use that knowledge to beat the game again extremely fast.

@sicorange3 :D No, there's much more in the game and you should definitely play it (the realMyst edition preferably). You can't do what the video shows unless you have completed the game (especially finding the correct pattern in the wall).
