Music seemed like a business; some of it wasn't too bad, but the Beatles were/are air, light, art, fun, sweetness, joy, creativity -- something completely different, Beatles Music, and it changed everything. It takes an awful lot of genius to create something completely new and real and original and beautiful. Maybe someday it will happen again!

@laydeebirds i see your point, but you never know. the funny thing that strikes me about the beatles is that they were never really part of the industry. they were like this garage band that came in anyway. they were rejected by every label they tried out for until a comedy producer, george martin, finally gave them a chance. even then, their american label refused to play or promote them until bootleg versions of their stuff came out. and the grammys were never kind to them.

Absolutely amazing song, strangely marred by it's connection to Charles Manson. Seems like the uploader of this song and everyone else don't seem to know the true meaning behind this song. It has nothing to do with the actual bird. So no reason for the bird photos. Paul wrote this during a time where the south was still strong with racism, and FYI, in his country, a girl is called a "bird".

The song is about a black girl, finally getting her time to fly/rise in society and etc... you get the picture. Anyway, history lesson... ha ha, either way, great song, enjoy !!
