  • .. Been watching the DVD of this concert for some days now... fucking awesome is not enough.

  • Looks a little like Cirque du Soleil meets

early Pink Floyd. Is there any professional photography anywhere on this group?

  • When they switch to 6/8 you can hear the DMT theme.

    Awesome

  • and this is would be the perfect opening song to the ineffable mysteries!

  • i would much rather shpongle sound like shpongle than for them to attempt a futile fully live show. ppl stop complaining and let the shpongly sounds wash over you

  • Dinotic you idiot, like if it was easy to make effects and effected voices live? I think they made a very nice show and a lot was happening there. Percussion, guitar, vocals, etc. What else do you want?

  • it was a really great show, but i wouldn't go so far to say it was better than i expected. for a live show they perform once every 5 years or more, i thought a lot of it was playbacked.. don't get me wrong, i absolutely loved it, but sometimes it was really obvious they playbacked and that kinda bothered me

  • dinotic, I am with you, I loved it but u are right, but on the other hand with this kinda of music there is very little you can do live in the strict sense of the word, 80%is playback, the rest are arragements but all on top of the record...when a psytrance act says that is "live"...just pressing play and adjusting the equalizer now and then...I loved it! absolutely loved it! And thank you to whoever uploaded this vid. Thanks. Peace

  • Hi there. My name is Ian Hunter and I have the proud title of Shpongles Live sound engineer. I can say 'Hand on Heart' that the majority of that gig was 'Live' this being The Drums, Bass, acoustic and lead guitar, percussion, Cello, Flute and Female vocals. The 'effected' vocals would be very difficult to produce live. Believe me there is alot happening on that stage. I hope you enjoyed it tho. Ian.

  • Hey, you did a great job mate.

The drummer was incredible. This alone made it an incredible live experience .

Then you've got Raja on the flute, bass and guitar, and the fantastic vocals ... Those were all live for sure, with occasional mistakes which made it all the more unique .

  • Hi Glotto. If you come to another Shpongle gig, give me an email and you can sit with me at the main mixing console. Here you will see it's alot more than adjusting an EQ. Glad you enjoyed the show, Ian. (Shpongles live sound engineer)

  • Hi Huntertube007, thanks for your comments, I absolutely trust u, and well I must admit that my previous comments are pretty much based on my ignorance in the area, I appreciate your directions. Exactly for what u said, there are so many effects that I thought would be impossible to reproduce them live. Anyway if Shpongle gets live again Ill get in touch ;). Peace.

  • By the way, did u guys recorded the live show or a dvd??

  • Next live show I will be there!! I cant wait to buy the fourth shpongle album.

Does anyone else love this song so much like me?

  • This new song is sooo good... Simon and Raja Ram, they make me believe in music.

  • Yeah, such a good concert :) Nice one guys!

  • what an amazing event! 1000 times better than i expected. awesome! these guys put on an amazing show from start to finish. cant wait to see them again

  • is that one of the new shpongle tracks o.o? it sounds nice

  • Yeah it was one of the new ones, and really a great start up on the whole show.. It worked really well.

  • Do dee do I wish I was there. Do dee do dee love you shpongle.

  • great concert!
