I also made a few songs in surinam, one of them is also a Zouk, you can find it under the title "kon te yu weri" (means come if you are tired) uploaded by me. in surinam we speak dutch but our second language is 'sranan tongo' (a mix of english dutch and spanish words)

zouk machine was in surinam very popular even as kassav'. kassav came to surinam two times (surinam is at the west from french guyana, so everytime they went to french guyana they used to travel trough surinam
