damn i miss this team and this guy, I grew up loving the team. I remeber going to the games in Charlotte every year when the kings were in town and beind surrounded by thousands of other kings fans. I go every year still and theres maybe 4 other kings fans beside me in the house.

I dont think there has ever been nor will there ever be a team that played with that much passion and team chemistry from 1-15. It still hurts me that the nba stole the title from them that year. In my book they're the greatest basketball team I've seen.

agreed man, but I don't think the NBA took away the title from us. Sure, there were some very bad calls in Game 6. But we choked in Game 7 by missing 15 FT and airing wide open threes

But the problem with that a game 7 should not have happened. During game 6, the kings were frustrated by bad call after bad call (theres some videos on here that show their faces). And going into game 7, I think it mentally affected them.

Peja and Vlade tought the team how to speak and write serbian,they were like a family,they came to Belgrade many times,awlays leaving with good memories,they were a serbian team-literally.

And,the whole team was giving a part of their season earnings to belgrade,in the time of nato bombing!

man your info is way wrong coz vlade was playing ALONGSIDE brad miller. they played better together than they could ever play without each other. that year brad was an allstar and bout big men averaged about 4.5 assists with peja dropping 24 points a game.

Great tribute, paydog23! Divac is one of the best passing centers of all time, could post up, rebound, and hit the three. I'm a fan of Brad Miller too because he's an excellent passer too, can rebound, and shoot too. In fairness, he only had that one season to play alongside Divac and learn before Divac returned to the Lakers. Also, Brad was losing other key guys around him. Divac was a master at orchestrating the offense though which the Kings have lacked since he left. Thanks!

Thanks. Divac was a great center. He led the team, passed well, grabbed many rebounds, and could shoot from the outside. Plus, he had the guts that Miller lacks.
