A) The Godfather did away with the gangster hollywood stereotype the 1930's-1940's made them out to be. This was how the Mafia works. It's not all "Ey, it's a heist, see. Yeah, see?", it's "I'll make you an offer you can't refuse.

Right under my very nose, because we had on VHS the whole time and I just never bothered watching it. :P Man, did I ever regret it.
