Meu amigo, o Senna podia até ser melhor que o Mansell (e de fato era). Mas nas temporadas de 1988 e 1989 a Mclaren era o que a Redbull é hoje: imbatível. Desconheço as circunstâncias dessa corrida, mas que o carro do Mansell era muito pior que o do Senna era.

crap racing^^ Look at the races with hamilton and button, hamilton and alonso, webber and vettel, so much better overtakes than what you saw 10+years ago. Its not all about 2 people challenging the title now, but now its anyones title, last years grand prix was a perfect example. Button, Alonso, Webber, Vettel and Hamilton could of all won the grand prix last year with only 2 races to go.
@28mAhDiYa28 The difference is, now we need DRS, KERS and all those electronic things to make this possible. The aerodynamic dependence is huge today, so the cars are not able to run as close as Senna, Mansell, Prost and other ones did in the past.

Next year they fucked up Massa (iirc) to give the championship to Hamilton (at the 100 meters the german driver, started going with 15 km/h in order for hamilton to pass with silly excuses) ... However I agree that now we have 5 (with Sch) world champions for the title and that's good.

Senna poderia naquele momento estar com problemas, porque quem o conhece sabe que ele nao entregaria a posição Tiram-me do sério quem critica os chamados sennistas, porque vejo que só quem não viveu aquela época para achar que Mansell poderia ser melhor que Senna.

He was lucky, and had good reflexes....he almost crashed. Like he has crashed Senna in Portugal, 1989, a stupid move that took out Senna´s chances for the championship.
People from my generation can say things such, "PIQUET WAS BETTER", or MANSELL, or PROST, indeed Senna perhaps was the best, but please, don't send me home on something that I really know a lot. :) .. I lived in Brasil 12 years, have been watching F1 since I am 6 ... in 1983
