@jonmanch3st3r ok so here is the deal I got me an alpine cde-123 headunit hooked up to my amps and subwoofer right now. I know some one selling the pioneer avh-p5700 for 200 bucks. The question is, is the pioneer better than my alpine or should I stick with the Alpine?

if u didnt knew it, the yellow 20 or 26 pin plug is for a video (touch) screen

a cable goes to a "hide away unit" en then to the (touch) screen

for example a pioneer avd w6210

SLA = Source Level Adjustment it basically turns your power up and ur eqx is ur equalizer

why it sounds so much better than the dual is cause the pioneer has a higher pre amp out put level then the dual and the pre amp voltage the higher the better sound quality eclipse decks have up to 8volt pre amp output and your not going to get any better sound quality than a 8volt pre amp output most decks have a 2volt and some have a 4volt but most eclipse decks have 5volt and 8 volt best sound quality and those other wires on your deck are navi and the motor and volume brake on that deck

i think also it might be adding the relay to the remote wire made a big difference...now that its getting that 12 volts out to the amp....so far i havent had and problems with the unit but i do plan on getting a newer model in the near future

ya i scored this flip up on ebay for 200,and then eneded up getting 25 bucks back because of shipping problems..so for 175 i got a 100 percent better sounding radio.just keep ur eyes open there all over the place on ebay and thanx for the rating

Hey brother, google the model # of the deck and you should find it in PDF format. Down load it and print it, or take a lappy out there and get aquainted with it's features. I'll send it to you if you PM me your E-mail. I need the model # though. I never dissed the Dual, but that Pioneer is a MAJOR upgrade. Your seeing the effects of a clean accurate output to your amps. That's why I rock Alpine, cause their decks sound really good. 5*s for making your setup even that much better!
