  • night ranger live is so much better than in the studio

  • Man in Motion!!!

  • this great band had more than they deseved they had fans that still follw, and top hits that will never leave there fans hearts. mine for one just enjoyed, one of many concerts last september 2010 they are are one in my book that will always be played and the memorys never faded. Always love them and Great White

  • @AtticaNY1

I saw Night Ranger in 90 or 91, but it was just a trio. Kelly, the drummer, Jack Blades, and Brad Gillis. They played every song incredibly! Brad Gillis was also wearing a "Speak of the Devil" t-shirt. Only some people know why nowadays. In my opinion, Jeff Watson is a gifted guitarist, but he wasn't required.....just like the keyboardist.

  • My favorite Brad Gillis solo.

  • Damn! I don't play the drums nor a singer. But playing drums and doing lead vocals has got to be very tough and extremely challenging...Pure talent!

  • @roctex

That's what I was thinking and he did both very well.

  • Night Ranger should have been even bigger than they were.

    They had it all

Amazing guitar player, amazing drummer, great songs, cool name.

    They had it all

  • @peacesells God Night Ranger was so sick, I just didn't get why in the 80's everyone wasn't playing the shit out of all their albums. I have only like 5 of my friends who even listened to them for real, and not just saying "Oh I know Night Ranger from Sister Christian."

  • I don't know man........There's also Sing Me Away and Goodbye.......I mean the list could just go on and on

  • Come on guys...Sister Christian WAS good, but no, it was not the best by a long shot. I don't know....I'd have to say Rumors In The Air or When You Close Your Eyes. Those songs were the best in my opinion. Sentimental Street is #3. I grew up with this group and I've heard every song............. incredibly talented individuals!

  • This was recorded at Irvine Meadows in Orange County, Ca. I know because I was at this show and I have the entire show bootleg. I recorded it when it was an MTV Weekend Concert back in 1984/85.

    Yo!

  • I only used to listen to (you can still) rock in america and dont tell me you love me, but...goddamn, ALL their stuff is outstanding.

  • You can get the audio-mp3 of this clip at grabyourmp3 doht cohm.

  • Jack Blades' hair rocks more than most bands!

  • It is pretty cool that Will Ferrel can play the drums in his pajamas like that. And have a mullet. That is a self-confident man.

  • Amazing band!

  • Kelly Keagy is a beast - what a musician!

  • The best song from Nightranger is " Restless Kind" listen to it!

  • @rrhfactor yeah i have the man in motion album but sentimental street or dont start thinking is probably my two favorites

  • Definitely, Man In Motion and I Did For Love!

  • Ok, I love the band & music etc.... , but lets be honest here: those outfits leave ALOT to be desired !! Lol!!

  • saw this tour when I was in freakin 8th grade, haha! Great band !! Great album! Great Decade !!!

  • will ferrel played drums int this band?? Who knew!!

  • Wish the audo and video matched up better.

  • So unusual for the drummer to be the singer. He sounds great though so...

  • I way prefer this song over Sister Christian although that song is really great too. I like this, Sister Christian, and When You Close Your Eyes the most.

  • sister christian sentimental street and goodbye are their best 3 songs ever

  • THIS IS NIGHTRANGERS VERY BEST.....WHAT A SHOW THEY ALWAYS PUT ON

  • can anybody find the ACTUAL , ORIGINAL , STUDIO VIDEO VERSION of this song . . . ? this song is the bomb , but i'm not that into the live versions . . .

  • This is a great band.I listened to them all the time while cruising in my muscle cars. Now days iam always looking for sentimental street.

  • great song. they were very left out because of the british invasion of the eighties.

  • HUGE night ranger fan, does anyone know where i can find the video to this concert? I had it on VHS but want it on DVD!

  • I so amazed that this guy can sing and play drums at the same time so well! Now that's talent.

  • Their singing voices and harmonies are great. Too bad they didn't get the recognition they deserved. Other bands that sucked got more noteriety!

  • Gotta love the outfits they wore in this show. Seriously, it looked ridiculous but just so appropriate for that decade!!

  • well i agree night ranger hard rock yes but i think theres a glam element too like there clothes but yeah i think youre mostly right ill change it

  • Night Ranger is Hard Rock, don't Glam Metal miketheblueeagle !!!!

  • This is Night Ranger's best song. Forget Sister Christian! That song was never that great! This should've been their biggest hit instead!

  • sister christian is lame

  • Yes it is

  • @VinylKid3000 i dont know i love sister christian i just think the term overplayed applies to it but sentimental street is my favorite too :)

  • @VinylKid3000 I agree with miketheblueeagle this is great but "Sentimental

Street" is Night Ranger's best song, it has Brad's best guitar solo too!!

  • @VinylKid3000 It almost was. Missed by 2 or 3 chart positions in USA. This never gets play these days. Only Sister Christian and Dont Tell Me You Love Me

  • @BestMusicExpert well it missed by 4 positions to be there biggest hit would of drew in tie with sister christian with 3 positions but this was there biggest album though

  • @VinylKid3000 no doubt...such a great song..man i miss the 80s

  • @VinylKid3000 for my money (You Can Still) Rock in America or Don't Tell Me You Love Me are better than Sentimental Street.

  • @VinylKid3000 My thoughts exactly! I've never liked Sister Christian, can't really say why! O_O

  • @VinylKid3000 this song is great, but i don't care what you say, Sister Christian is still a pretty great song.

  • Listen to the ballad on the last disc called their is life , amazing tune

  • phil collins does it as well as don henley.

kelly is one of the best.

  • love this band, love this song

  • Not many things harder than pounding out rhythym and singing melody at the same time. This has always been one of my favorites of NR, with Sing Me Away....another KK song.

  • this is the first time i've ever heard of the lead singer playing drums at the same time.

  • This is my favorite song of NIGHT RANGER.

  • I'm about 25 years late on this, but for my life I thought Jack Blades (bass player) was the lead singer.... : O

  • Hi well jack shares vocal duties with kelly keagy the drummer, but if you listen to songs like don't tell me you love me, rock in america, four in the morning you can definetely tell its a different voice and well thats jack singing

  • Jack is the lead, but him and Kelly trade off.

  • Awesome Song .Awesome Band

  • I know these guys get labelled 80s because that's when they arrived and the whole look and ethos is pure 80s (I was there), but there is something about the quality of the band and song structures which is pure 70s. Whatever, they don't write or perform them like this anymore.

  • It's so true and there's hardly any rock or metal bands around these days such a shame!!!!!!!!!

  • such a great band they had everything and still do!!!

  • Awesome Band, Awesome Song nuff said.

    TDM

  • Flaw-less solo!

  • like you

  • no doubt, but what does it matter? :P

  • The sound is off....not in sync
