this great band had more than they deseved they had fans that still follw, and top hits that will never leave there fans hearts. mine for one just enjoyed, one of many concerts last september 2010 they are are one in my book that will always be played and the memorys never faded. Always love them and Great White
I saw Night Ranger in 90 or 91, but it was just a trio. Kelly, the drummer, Jack Blades, and Brad Gillis. They played every song incredibly! Brad Gillis was also wearing a "Speak of the Devil" t-shirt. Only some people know why nowadays. In my opinion, Jeff Watson is a gifted guitarist, but he wasn't required.....just like the keyboardist.
@peacesells God Night Ranger was so sick, I just didn't get why in the 80's everyone wasn't playing the shit out of all their albums. I have only like 5 of my friends who even listened to them for real, and not just saying "Oh I know Night Ranger from Sister Christian."
Come on guys...Sister Christian WAS good, but no, it was not the best by a long shot. I don't know....I'd have to say Rumors In The Air or When You Close Your Eyes. Those songs were the best in my opinion. Sentimental Street is #3. I grew up with this group and I've heard every song............. incredibly talented individuals!
This was recorded at Irvine Meadows in Orange County, Ca. I know because I was at this show and I have the entire show bootleg. I recorded it when it was an MTV Weekend Concert back in 1984/85.
I way prefer this song over Sister Christian although that song is really great too. I like this, Sister Christian, and When You Close Your Eyes the most.
can anybody find the ACTUAL , ORIGINAL , STUDIO VIDEO VERSION of this song . . . ? this song is the bomb , but i'm not that into the live versions . . .
@VinylKid3000 It almost was. Missed by 2 or 3 chart positions in USA. This never gets play these days. Only Sister Christian and Dont Tell Me You Love Me
@BestMusicExpert well it missed by 4 positions to be there biggest hit would of drew in tie with sister christian with 3 positions but this was there biggest album though
Not many things harder than pounding out rhythym and singing melody at the same time. This has always been one of my favorites of NR, with Sing Me Away....another KK song.
Hi well jack shares vocal duties with kelly keagy the drummer, but if you listen to songs like don't tell me you love me, rock in america, four in the morning you can definetely tell its a different voice and well thats jack singing
I know these guys get labelled 80s because that's when they arrived and the whole look and ethos is pure 80s (I was there), but there is something about the quality of the band and song structures which is pure 70s. Whatever, they don't write or perform them like this anymore.
night ranger live is so much better than in the studio

Damn! I don't play the drums nor a singer. But playing drums and doing lead vocals has got to be very tough and extremely challenging...Pure talent!

It is pretty cool that Will Ferrel can play the drums in his pajamas like that. And have a mullet. That is a self-confident man.

I so amazed that this guy can sing and play drums at the same time so well! Now that's talent.

Their singing voices and harmonies are great. Too bad they didn't get the recognition they deserved. Other bands that sucked got more noteriety!
