You can have the cross hairs or cursor on 100% on OS X. I am using version 5.11.0

Go to options then user interface, on the right of the pop up dialogue box it has the option for cursor small or large choose large, you have to click large for schematic and layout if you want it large on both. I hope this helps.

Hi thanks for your tutorial! Very helpful. I wonder how to display the crosshair cursor. I guess this makes it a lot easier to align the components. I can't seem find where to enable it. Maybe it is not available on os x?
