  • it's a beautiful song, and I liked it...

  • Chu Nom has 2 parts: one part is the Chinese character that carries the meaning of the word, the other part is another Chinese character that carries a similar sound of Vietnamese word. So, in order to learn Chu Nom, one must know the Chinese words (Chu Han) very well. I dont know Chinese words a lot, but definitely some of the words in the song are Chinese words (Chu Han) and not Chu Nom. I found one chu Nom in there, though (sorry I dont know much Chinese words, as I said).

  • @GDQT Actually it wasn't France that assisted in the invention of the current Vietnamese written system, it was a Portuguese missionary.

  • Thank you very much. Your works help Vietnamese people learn Chu Nom. To be frankly, a lot of Vietnamese like Chinese because they share so much in common. Most of the political news make us illusive about the Vietnamese and Chinese. We the Vietnamese people like to watch Chinese, Cantonese, Korean, and Japanese movie because we share a lot of the same vocabulary.

  • @CharlieDoan This channel for education, and for intellectuals. for Ladies and Gentlemen only, Please comment politely. If that does not know what is polite, Please go to learn it first. Do not show rudeness or genomics of you here.

  • Chu Nom.. forget about it! 86 millions of Vietnamese ask to see who still learn and understand. No use and no school for that Chinese "ALIKE" shit! - No matter u like or u don't...NOM not exist...and if u are not understand then why write them in here so make the fucking Chinese to explain to you. • All of them sound good, including French. I think Việtnamese version is the best... because Minh Tuyết sings it :)

  • oh god, i can just recognize the characters for chinese words...

  • @jhlaurence It's not chinese characters. It's Chu Nom; vietnamese characters.

  • @YuDumPhuck which is copied from chinese character so shutup

  • @DiabloMercy You shut the fuck up! You don't know shit! Hán tự or chữ Hán/ chữ Nho was copied from the chinese characters, Chữ Nôm is not.

  • @YuDumPhuck gook, CULTURE STEALER

  • @DiabloMercy Gook is a word for all Asians you idiot. If you're Chinese then people can say the same thing about you, as most of your culture originated from Mongolia and Manchuria.

  • @johnadamsyt erm no it jus used for vietnamese by americans during vietnam war. Mongolia and manchuria, woa dude do you know anything about them or are u just spilling out names from wikipedia?

  • @DiabloMercy You idiot, gook was originally used to describe people in the Phillipines by Americans, then in Vietnam, then used against all Asians in America by American whites and blacks. You being Asian are now using it against your fellow Asians, you are a true idiot. The two most influential dynasties that ruled China and gave them the culture they have now, are the Yuan and the Qing. Mongolians and Manchurians. I am an Asian history lecturer at an international university.IDIOT!

  • @johnadamsyt Well, I have to say that Mongolians and Manchurians contribute a lot to Chinese culture and become part of it. But I would not say that Mongolians and Manchurians gave the culture to Chinese. Chinese culture is much older and broaden than that. Yuan dynasty is short. During the Qing dynasty Manchurians has been merged into Han Chinese. It's a lovely song, just read your comments and can't help to reply...no offense.

  • @judge1108 No offence taken. The reason I wrote what I wrote is because the Chinese think that everything Asian originated from them and that they all originated from a monolithic culture, which couldn't be further from the truth, Every time I watch something Asian in Youtube, there's always a Chinese comment saying "Oh that's Chinese".

  • @johnadamsyt Haha, I guess most time it's a western guy that thought every Asian is Chinese. I'm also frequently mistaken as a Japanese...anyway we looks similar, so why not. Asians for sure have all their own culture but I have to say the most influencing ones were Chinese and Indians, so called Sinosphere and Indosphere. After all, now all are influenced by Western culture...that's why we have to communicate in English.

  • @jhlaurence why do i meet sensitive dummies all the time??? did i say they are chinese characters??? to respect your feelings, i could say they are identical. but seriouly, some of them are indeed chinese characters, and you just borrowed them. i've never seen a japanese denying that most of their characters are chinese characters. the japanese characters in their mind are those created by themselves. i know how chu noms are created~~ but please don't act like some korean people~~

  • 越南音乐有自己的特色。

    vietnamese music is very special.

  • @yuqian19871123 ..and not come to take it away from us like you took Viet land in the North Vn and fuck round with our sea and islands...FUCK CHINESE

  • @yuqian19871123 you're right! Vietnam has a lot of good songs

  • cai cưt j đây sao lại co chữ thai' nưa? ?

  • Vietnamese Music is very powerful. It takes you on an extreme low where you can sit and meditate on the deep deep feelings and words. When translated to English, which I am the only person who can do that, can make you tear up. Sometimes translation don't depict the true feelings and moods of what we are trying to convey.
