Wow. Amazing how this old-style instrument, even with period strings, sounds almost identical to the modern classical with high-tension nylon. Maybe it's the low YouTube quality, though.

Great playing. Accuracy AND style. I think you almost gain something in the music with those bass voices up a couple octaves in line with the main voice.
