  • This Elvis dude reminds me of Gene Simmons from KISS.

  • GREAT HISTORICAL FOOTAGE OF "BURNING LOVE".

  • I think that Jerry Scheff isn't on bass...who is this bass player?

  • one of his best ,still the king

  • one of his best ,still the king

  • i heard he really didnt want to do this song any truth to that?

  • Elvis at this time was going through a bad patch, Priscilla had left him and during this recording session - Elvis only wanted to do sad songs like Seperate Ways.

To try and get Elvis out of this sombre mood, Felton Jarvis got Elvis to do Burning Love an up tempo and upbeat number.

  • @TheJoec2005 yeah he didn't want to do it and he only went through four takes and it had to be edited to make the single his last million seller later the ever hungry for a dollar Colonel had it put on an LP as Elvis was going downhill fast it was "Burning Love and songs from Elvis' movies" or something to that effect With Burning Love it was a million seller Elvis started with such raw talent it was sad to see him in the end but he was one of the great ones who changed musid forever RIP Elvis

  • This Is A Brilliant Video Of The Best Artist Ever To Grace This Planet. I Love Elvis And Have Been A Fan From About 5 Years Old I Am 37 Now And Elvis Is And Always Will Be The King.

  • How trippy is it that Elvis' get up isn't the worst in the room... I am looking at you, Mr.Drummer.

  • Somewhere beyond cool! He was a great, great man an an epic American

  • Great job on the editing and dubbing. Could have been in Elvis On Tour the remake, but that's a non starter. Seems like us fans know what is needed but the big guys who spend the money don't. They have made a massive mistake taking out Johnny B. Goode at the start of the new DVD. Crazy! And the studio vaults are heaving full with fantastic unseen footage.

  • very beautiful video !

  • Honestly, who else could wear a shirt like that and command respect.

  • this is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fuckin love this song...

this is when real music was real.. not like 90% of todays crap that produced.

  • Back then you didn't need Music Videos to push songs, nowadays you need to use videos to push CRAPPY "songs".

To be honest, with the exception of a few songs, if you heard them on the radio (and they didn't have a music video out) you would change channels !!!!!

  • Magic!

  • What is also bothersome is having to watch great rare footage, like this, with the on screen time code showing (00:00:00:00). It's really unfortunate too!

  • Absolutely my favorite Elvis song. Ronnie Tutt is fabulous, and Elvis proves why he is simpply the KING. This song never gets old.

  • Today is 33 years ago that we lost this great artist :( Thanks god we still have songs like this. Elvis you are still the king!

  • LOVE IT! This should have been the new intro song to ELVIS ON TOUR if they had to change it. It matches the karate moves...etc of the film. It was very stupid to use "Don't Be Cruel" (a lame live version that they had to loop to make work). Good job on this video. I wish that this footage was in the new DVD. It's bothersome knowing that there's footage that could be used but we will only see it on bootlegs or youtube.

  • I haven't seen the release of Elvis On Tour on DvD as yet but I know EPE had to pay an arm and a leg to use Johnny B Good for their Aloha Boxset and it would appear they were not willing to be held to ransom over its usage again.

That being said, I think Don't Be Cruel being played to the action sequence at the start of the film is a really bad idea, because the music and lyrics don't fit the images - they'd be better of overdubbing some new, non-vocal music over the titles.

  • @INKJET57 I'm with you. Why not get the TCB band back in the studio and let them just rock out on some three chord rock and roll with Burton just tearing it up....Elvis didn't need to sing in the intro.

  • @jdmyerscountry icould have been his intro but he hated that song with a passion. When he had to sing that he would say " I hate that god dammed song"

  • Haha. This makes me smile so much. I just like the progression in this song, and I adore Elvis in his sunglasses. REally cute. <3

  • Elvis was and is the only one. Nobody does it better!

  • Elvis The Great - Elvis wears a cape like Superman. HE IS A SUPERMAN. Greatest entertainer in the History Of Man. After all these years I've waited and watched to see if any superstar equivalent to Elvis would emerge from the pile of "Rock n Roll" entertainers. Looks like I'm gonna die before that happens.

  • inkjet 57 - Burning Love - this song, works for the man, Elvis, who, in the midst of his own woman - is realizing his own self love. It started with him, it continues to go, with him. What, who, why, where, when happens next - is totally up to the one, carries his patience with him - for one and all - to find a one love - that says, i am who i am, and she is who she is - I can help you - I know that I need other's help too.

  • Thank you for this vid!!! I love to see Elvis rehearsing!!!

  • Love seeing Elvis in the studio rehearsing, he is the only Elvis!!!

  • likey likey((:

  • Best Rythym Section ever.

  • alright baby !!

LOVE this song LOVE elvis !!

elvis sets me on fire rawr ;)))

  • hail to the king!! the best male singer of all time. i would put put my hound dog against any of them!!

  • This is one of Elvis' best EVER!

  • too bad this isn't the "Master Edit". As a lip reader he starts off singing, "Lord have mercy, feel my temperature rising..." the audio plays "Lord alMighty". Nice con job!! Great song just the same

  • I used outtakes from Elvis on Tour and overdubbed them with the officially released track. My idea was to give fans a chance to see both unreleased footage as well as Elvis Jamming in the studios to an Elvis classic.

  • lord almighty/lord have mercy, what difference does it make?

  • @Blowndodge yeah, drums are a bit off too.

  • Elvis the king!

Only the good die young :'(

    me hero!

  • @INGALSz ELVIS was NOT GOOD... he was a Drug Adict...! A Real Role Model for His Generation...!

  • @ROGER459 Don't bash Elvis!

  • There are two Kings I Like : Elvis and Michael Jackson! May they both rest in peace. Elvis, I was never around for him, But i have a few songs in my computer, and now Michael. I love him dearly and I wish he is in a better place.

  • elvis is soul of nation

    jackson is just another guy

  • You did a good job on this video! And as I've said many times before, Elvis was the best!

  • Those kids that make fun of you do not know quality music. Elvis sang songs that make sense. You can always understand every word. Elvis always sang with feelings put into each song. Elvis is a wonderful man and Elvis will always be the # 1 King, the best. I love elvis with all my heart now and forever.

  • I love Elvis. His music was so positive and fun.I wish they made music like that today because it's all depresing now, and the kids at school make fun of me for liking the oldies. Elvis was the KING!!!!!

  • I'm glad you like it - just because a song is old, doesn't mean it isn't great.

The biggest reason artists do so many cover versions of old songs - is because the new ones are crap.

As for films, they've had to revive the Batman, superman franchaise and now The Terminator is also being revived.

  • @INKJET57 There is some great music today but you have to look for it. As for films go, All the good ides were used up by the 60's so all they can do is re-hash. Good films are made today but as in music you have to look beneath the commercial crap!

  • The video and the sound have been put together in sync but don't belong together.

When the video indicates 1:36:44:11, elvis takes care of his glasses and far from microphone while we hear him in the audio. This is not the master edit.

  • you're right.

  • Elvis has helped me in so many ways. Elvis is indeed a great role model. Elvis conquered many obstacles during his career and survived all of them. Elvis is also a hero and a wonderful man in every way. I will always defend and love Elvis.

  • indeed well said good on yer !!!

  • Thank you for posting this video. I love watching Elvis. I could watch this all day. Elvis looked and sounded great. But then I love Elvis no matter how he looks. Elvis is a wonderful man in every way. I love Elvis.

  • Delighted you like it, like millions of others I found Elvis to be highly inspirational and a great role model.

It's a little sad todays stars are so negative.

  • I love this song!! Thanks for sharing the video!

  • This is one cool video. I love it. I love Elvis in his older years and with the Elvis Glasses and Jewlery. Thanks for posting, Daisy Doo of Memphis Vice Bitches

  • elvis is always gonna be a god an every one on here wachin his tunes just carrys the legend even further!!

  • You can tell the video is a little out of sync but otherwise nice :)

  • yes its good
