I got a panpour in the game and raised and evolved her all the way to ELite 4! She's in my main party got a pansage from egg event and pansear from GTS but prefer panpour. :) After she learned surf she became a total beastess! Yeah, panpours awesome. B-)

All 3 "elemental monkeys" are Ok, I never used them however.

There aren't very many Water type options until the post-game, so Panpour is OK in that aspect, however, there are much better options available, their bad stats kind of shine through in the end-game.

I used both pansage and pansear in my two playthroughs and tell you what pansage kicked ass with leech seed work up energy ball and seed bomb. Pansear I used yawn work up flamethrower and brick break. pretty much had the same plan for both of these two, basically leech seed two work ups and then sweep pretty much any of the opponents. With Pansear I would yawn get 3 work ups and then sweep the rest of the opposing team. Both were also great death dummies at times as well LoL

Honestly I think all of the monkeys are okay, but you can get a lot better pokemon, like for example I got panpour, but I used Palpitoad instead. Still think Simisage looks the best.

As with any new poke' game I tend to just use the poke's that can totally beat the elite 4 and champion then catch em all and EV train em. Originally I got pansage but I also had white version so I got em all anyway, but until after champion I didn't use any of them but Panpour is definitly my favorite elemonkey. Pansear's a wanna be Infernape.

@Dboy12k He includes so much info in his videos such as oppossing traineres, wild pokemon, team, narration etc. that editing takes years and years.

I am going to use Pansage on my jourrney. The grass monkey gets a decent movepool with Rock Slide overing four of his five weaknesses. Ferrothorn and Sawsbuck will be used in a later playthrough.
