I always liked Toni and her style, not too cute to sing sista. Others great vocalists I admire with her tone and register: Ann Peebles, Millie Jackson, Gwen McCrae and of course Gladys Knight, and Tina Turner just to name a few, In my opinion Toni is the last great alto to come on the scene, we got too many "too cute to sing" wannabe divas out today, where are the real singers?
