Flyers on the 2nd level, hold your arms out so the top flyer's arms are in a T-shape. This will make it look so much prettier.

I go to Bessemer city Middle School and i'm a cheerleader there and we learned this cheer last week. Except we used Tigers not jackets.

If they use it at games only, and the cheer cops don't see, then it doesn't matter if it's illegal :)

No,it only means there coaches are very intelligent/responsible individuals.

Rules are there for a reason. Most level 6 stunts (which this is) aren't that hard. In fact, most level 6 stunts are MUCH easier than level 4 or 5 stunts. However, when something DOES go wrong it can go very wrong.These stunts aren't that hard to do but sometimes it only takes a little thing to bring a stunt down and from that height it can be deadly. Kids this age have no business doing a stunt like this.

The AACCA high school guidelines says 2 1/2 high pyramids are illegal for HS.  This split pyramid therefore is illegal.

I agree 100%. I've been cheering in HS and All star cheer for more than a decade. I am also USASF certified and have now been coaching both HS and All star for 4 years.

These stunts (level 6) are often easier than lower level stunts but the risk involved is so much higher. That's why these stunts are illegal. SHAME ON YOUR COACHES. If something goes wrong and one of those kids are injured it reflects badly on all of us and puts the future of our sport in jeopardy.
