If Secret Service or whatever wanted to prevent it from being reported, people and the journalists working on it would probably suspect something wasn't right. I don't think the government can manipulate third party news programmes and journalists, they try to get right at the source instead. In this case, there were to many witnesses to cover it up.

If Secret Service or whatever wanted to prevent it from being reported, people and the journalists working on it would probably suspect something wasn't right. I don't think the government can manipulate third party news programmes and journalists, they try to get right at the source instead. In this case, there were to many witnesses to cover it up.
