The CG of the building in within the support bases, which is why the plane stopped dead in it's track when it hit. Combine this with the fact that the floors were exerting same amount of force to plane going up, as gravity was pulling down. It was only a matter of time before outside factors collapses the floors, and it's a pancake effect from there.

The force the plane transferred into a hole blasted into a denser object would be EQUAL to the force the denser object delivers to the plane instantly. Is EQUAL difficult for you to understand?
