These deer come for miles and miles to this area and all wintering areas and follow the sounds and smells of forestry operations during our hard winter months to get a easy meal. Also because of our equipment compacting the snow in large quantity it is alot easier for the deer to escape the predators.I went out of my way to feed these deer as much as i could without cutting production and knew alot of them from year to year and would recognize them the following winter.A very special treat for me
For the people wondering---yes this is an area where deer winter and we where cutting around the area and the deer would just keep following us from cut to cut.Why wouldn't they?
For all those trying to figure out where it is so you can go hunt there? Trust me theres no sense, i'm an avid hunter and havn't had a real hard time getting deer most years and i have hunted this area with no sucess, these deer are not there in hunting season. There are some but no more than any other area in NB
it called yarding when winter comes cold the deer come together from miles around to feed together when spring ends youl be lucky to find one deer hanking around
for the idiots that dont know this is called yarding . deer come from miles around to feed in the same spotsfrom year to year its ussally thick swamps or cut overs or open meadows in the spring
this is amazing...would be a good place to go deer hunting jkd..... deer are wayy too cute to shoot... anyway this is awsome and would be unbelievablw to see
Google... tolna more deer than people. I live very close to where that was filmed
