If the steed had special powers then it would be worth the $25.00 But because it's available to anybody that wants to pony up the $25, it loses any specialness that it may otherwise have if it had to be won in the game by doing certain quests and or other actions to obtain. I'm actually stunned that as many people bought into this steed with real money as did, and laugh now at how many people won't use it becaue they found out people were laughing at them behind their backs about it.

nice mount, the problem is though, horses, and smaller mount, eg This, Skeletal horses, and even the Hawkstriders but they all look absolute SHIT on the bigger races. So Orc, Tauren, Draenei, possibly Troll will look absolute shit. I wont be getting this mount as my mains are Tauren, they look bloody awful on smaller mounts. Blizz need to bring out a spectral mount that actually measures width-wise on characters too, like drakes do.
This will look good on Humans, Belfs, Undead, Nelf really.

It's nice looking but the animations and such is poorly done in lots of parts. They used hippogryph animations for most of it but didn't tweak things properly... Those floppy hooves and broken wings look really silly in various movements. There are also terrain and scaling issues. Riding around on it doesn't feel as majestic as it looks. People are better off waiting on them to fix issues before paying.

Firstly, this doesnt help gold farmers or something. Second, even if blizzard did this to make cash, i wouldnt see why not, ppl are free to waste their cash and have fun, mind ur own life. I feel like this mount was a bad idea. It's only real benefit is if you start an alt you don't need to get that extra 161 gold you will inevitably have lying around to get the 4 mounts you buy between levels 20-80. 1 gold at 20, 10 gold at 40, 50 gold at 60, and the 100 gold at 70 (77 cold weather flying+speed improvement.). I would never buy this.
@Xpalman I'm against this idea as well, I was explaining it's useless, and it has little to no benefit. Also this is the invincible mount with a Algonon re-skin, everyone has it, only the most retarded mount collectors buy these. The bad thing is blizzard will think it's ok to do this stupid stuff if we buy into it, in-game transactions for RL currency is a bad idea in any MMo. Blizzard will make more unless we prove it won't sell, sadly this is not working. I hope blizzard never does this again

People are getting excuses to complain at blizzard.
Firstly, this doesnt help gold farmers or something. Second, even if blizzard did this to make cash, i wouldnt see why not, ppl are free to waste their cash and have fun, mind ur own life. And for last, why the need of a huge reaction to whine about this horse? It didn't offend anyone, if you don't wanna spend cash then don't, but stop making stupid excuses on how this ruins the game or emptys our pockets

I really think a lot of you should stop worrying about what other people spend their money on. The way I see it is, people play this game to have fun, and for a little extra cash, they can have even more fun. If you're so against the idea of people blowing a little extra money on stuff like this mount, then don't play the damned game, stop your bitching, and worry about yourself.

To the dude saying "it's imaginary": it's not. It's entertainment, such as a cineman visit. You pay something and you get something that makes you happy, and if you have a job than paying a few bucks for happyness ain't a bad deal.
I personally wouldn't buy it (and don't play WoW anymore either), but I understand people who do buy it, and I think mocking them is quite immature.

I personally wouldn't buy it (and I don't play WoW anymore either), but I don't think that there is a reason to mock people who purchase it. If someone has a nice job and spare money, why not spending a few bucks if it makes you happy?

I feel like this mount was a bad idea. It's only real benefit is if you start an alt you don't need to get that extra 161 gold you will inevitably have lying around to get the 4 mounts you buy between levels 20-80. 1 gold at 20, 10 gold at 40, 50 gold at 60, and the 100 gold at 70 (77 cold weather flying+speed improvement.). I would never buy this.

@Xpalman I'm against this idea as well, I was explaining it's useless, and it has little to no benefit. Also this is the invincible mount with a Algonon re-skin, everyone has it, only the most retarded mount collectors buy these. The bad thing is blizzard will think it's ok to do this stupid stuff if we buy into it, in-game transactions for RL currency is a bad idea in any MMo. Blizzard will make more unless we prove it won't sell, sadly this is not working. I hope blizzard never does this again
