yeah i saw a picture of him with his little boy who i swear is the cutest little boy in the world and he had hair so he isn't bald so im not sure i;ll ask him when i go to his concert

Actually, they don't want to be called a Christian band, check more recent interviews with them around the MMHMM era. And if you don't think they don't write songs about girls, check the music video for "Must Have Done Something Right" -- The fact is that they don't want to be called a Christian band, and if God was really inspiring the lyrics they right, He would be mentioned in a more noticable way. God doesn't hide himself! Instead you just have to suppose the song is about God...

Relient K is a Christian band. Just about every song that they release is talking about God and their faith. Matt Thiessen always talks about writing his songs about the Lord and tries to stray away from the normal cliché of writing about girls. So some songs of theirs could be taken to the Christian side or could be about a girl but 9 times out of 10 the song was written about God and faith, and some take it the wrong way and think hes talking about someone or something else other than God.

Relient K is most assuredly a Christian band, Bcoelke but I would not go as far as to say that 9 out of 10 their songs were written about God... Maybe sum of their older stuff but not for nething newer. Take their "2 Lefts" album... College Kids, Pink tux, Mood Rings, Chapsticks, none of those were about God... so u can't say 9 outta 10 r bout God

Just because they write about girls doesn't mean their not christian. They won't come out and say it in their songs that their christian but all of their morrals make it look like the person who wrote the song was a christian. I think what they're trying to do is get to atheists in a 'rock way' and teach them good morrals.

haha dude you might want to know more about the band before saying stuff like that. it is true on their newer album they have less stuff about GOD, and just more positive things. and i bet a lot you are assuming it's about a girl but it could be about GOD. and if you even listened to any of their older stuff at all you would know they are christian. I'm sure they arent stressing over writing songs about God. As a songwiriter, I know I wouldnt stress over balancing my CD. I'd choose whatever songs are best that I've written so far. They must have lots more songs about God that we just dont know and may never know but if you take the time to look, they do have "God songs"
