there is a slight color difference, but that really only depends on the screen the game is being viewed on. in this case, the 360 version seemed to have a slightly more 'vibrant' tone, making it look better. the ps3 one looked a bit duller. but then again, this can be fixed instantly with a little colour correction.

I bought a PS3 because I don't play games ALL the time. I wanted a blu-ray player, I wanted wi-fi built in and I wanted a HDD that I could easily upgrade in a few years. Oh and I didn't like the sound of the RROD and $50 a year to play online. Those were my reasons. I still think the 360 is a decent games machine, and the graphics between the two systems are about the same.

The fact that PS3 has Blu Ray does not mean it has better graphics than an Xbox 360. Bluy Ray allows for more information to be stored on the disk but it does not make it more HD than the 360. A DVD game disk/Blu Ray disk is not like DVD/Blu Ray. A DVD loses quality due to the fact that the video has to be compressed at a higher rate than Blu Ray. However, with either game disk, the files are uncompressed and only your TV can change the quality.

That is true but the ps3 can processor twice as much as a 360 n it runs smoother as well. i don't get why sony hasnt pushed the ps3 more as it can well smash the other consoles graphically i mean it does after all have the cell processor in it.

I'm not sure your processor speed claim is correct. The 360 uses 3 PowerPC cores each running at 3.2 Ghz and the PS3 uses Cell cores running at 3.2ghz as well. There may be a slightly faster bus speed or something but nothing that would make it 2x the speed of the 360.

7 x 256KB SRAM for SPE which overall gives it better performance as it can process 218 GFLOPs and the GPU can process 1.8 TFLOPS where as the xbox 360 can only process 1 TFLOPS because of its GPU. anyone who actually looks at the specs of both system's would see the the ps3 just blows the 360 out of the water in processing. i mean just look the some of the games such as Flower u couldnt process that on 360 or MGS4 :)

As a person that owns both a PS3 and a 360 I can easily say that the 360 is equal in graphical quality to the PS3.

The only benefit the PS3 really has over the Xbox is Blue Ray and the fact that Sony can put more information on a disk.

And the crack about Microsoft copying the Gamecube's controller is complete crap. They kept the same controller layout (With the exception of the D-Pad) as they did with the 1st Xbox controller.

I own both systems for the exclusives.

...not really. the 360's controller doesn't have the black or white buttons anymore. so its not the same button layout as the original xbox. In my opinion, i liked the original xbox 100000000 times better than the 360 due to the amount of variation in the games. the 360 basically has ALOT of shooters. Most of them r. the original xbox had adventure, shooters, platformers, puzzles, and even rpg's. But hey. that's just my opinion.

The disc isnt HD.

The content inside is HD. Its a big file.

yea but most ps3 games you cant hardly tell unless you get some crap game like Quake Wars or something like that. Blu Ray tech doesn't "just" hold information. It also clears up the picture and graphics. Some graphics power can be from information. I mean if graphics was just from the processor then every PS3 game would damn there look like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2. Take a Blu Ray movie for example and compare it to a regular dvd. And 50 MHZ difference is nothing in the grand scheme of things. We have reached a point in console gaming where we have simply pushed the envelope as far as it's going to go graphically. The next revolution is interactivity... which the WII has a big jump on both Sony and Microsoft. Though Microsoft is making "Project Natal" which promises to be pretty damn decent.

where i left off also if you put both systems together at 720p/i or 1080p/i the ps3 wins*i have all 3 systems to it isnt hard to compare. The Ps3 is made to be an HD console where the Xbox360 is just for casual do what ever play. You NEED an hd tv and etc. to play the ps3 but you don't need HDMI even though it is prefered. Though either way they are both perfectly fine systems but the ps3 is just better hardware. I mean i haven't heard of ps3s malfunctioning and going red yet. while 360s do.

In all truthfulness NOT TRY TO START A CONSOLE WAR the ps3 has better graphic capability 2 terabytes to the 360s 1 terabyte. You wont notice it much unless for other games but the ps3 being "less jagged" was due to the fact that it had the system capability to make things look softer and or more real. grahpic wise the enw systems go Wii at 500 million polygons->360->Ps3. Also it all depends on what your TV can do with your system. a 1080p or i 360 might look better then a 720p or i ps3
