Hello, impressive... you've got a very cute voice, but if I could give you an advice from my own experience (theatre from sooo many years...!) you should try to sing more freely. To be more explicit... As I hear during the video, you try to sing like Kokia and you couldn't express all your might and all the love you feal about this song! It's sad because your voice is beautifull, so why don't you try to sing more "like you" and "less than Kokia"?

I was searching on web for this song and so i found it on youtube and also found your version. I am not a singer cause my voice is terrible :-( but i play flute, shawn and bagpipe. But i think you've done a very good job with this song! Think it is very hard to sing in this style. pretty voice, but not enought register of high notes, you need to improve your breathing to be able to sing the long notes. I'm sorry, but you don't reach the kokia level of the original song at all. 1:45 is the worst part.

Anyway, keep working, this is indeed a hard song. Try with something easier and good luck, maybe you will be able to sing this well soon

i agree with him/her... breath control is key in music, but then again this is an amazingly hard piece so i am impressed you sang this song amazingly. it sounds really good especially since you have never taken lessons. but i would advise you to take lessons and you will get places with that voice.

Hey there, you are soo REALLY GOOOD! u sing like a pro n u have some advanced techniques to be able to sing this, I didn't NOTICE any mistake in this but if u want a pro's critique then its just that u got out of breath @ some point the rest is more than great! and u don't need to take any lessons if u practice ALOT ,avoid ur mistakes and take suggestions into consideration its easy to bcome better than pros d^_~

Here are some tips I hope this helps you:

-Try to be as relaxed as possible and don't strain your voice b4 singing

-don't record all at once! better if you record each sentence by itself, that way you won't get out of breath, plus it will turn out just like one from a studio

-practice several times b4 recording, after recording, listen carefully and look for any off pitches and correct those.

I know it's hard especially with this song, because it takes a lot of concentration (i have tried to sing it myself the past few days, hope i will make it so it sounds okay), also the song is very intense, at least for me, thre are a lot of emotions, and for me it's hard to keep them down especially when singing. But particularly because this song is so intense, i want to become a part of it and it a part of me through singing it. (never took any singing lessons myself)

The first part is the easiest part for me so I could do it better than another part : more natural & confident .

The Most difficult is the "Rurekuteshieka..." part...it's so hard for me to catch the words at that time ^^;

At the "Ureramu..." part I was out of breath ^^; actually I don't like what i've done at these two parts as well...

It was awesome your voice cracked some times but thats only to be expected but it did sound a little rushed and this song is more laid back so instead of focusing on hitting the right notes try and make it flow more and in some parts you need to be a bit more softer because this is a really nice soft song but I've tried singing this song and I had such a hard time doing it I still can't do it so congrats on a job well done

Interesting stuff.... this one ranges from incredibly good to not so good. and what amazes me most is that you mastered the hard parts quite well, but not so much the easier bits. Try to breathe deeper and use "backing power" from your belly and back. Think of it like a belt is around there and you're singing against that belt.
