So in order to do the two colored icing, does one color have to be on one side of the piping bag and one color on the other?

Yeah-You can put as many colors as you want just around the inside edge of the piping bag. You just want each color to have the same amount in there, and to start at the same level so it comes out evenly.

I did! I had unedited video of me making it, but I must have deleted it...

Anywho-I just rolled out gum paste and free hand cut the body of the guitar-I used a metal icing tip to cut the rounded edges-It wasn't perfect, but it worked. Then, I just straight cut the neck of the guitar and used water to fuse the two pieces together since gum paste with stick to more gum paste with water.The pieces dried overnight, and I made a confectioner's glaze(u can buy it too) and tint

(continued) ...and tinted the glaze red and black using Wilton gel icing. I made the small parts of the guitar out of colored gum paste and sprinkles. The part of the body and the headstock that are black are just thin black pieces of gum paste that I cut out, wet slightly on the bottom, and laid where they needed to be on the frame I had already made.

I've done this design a few times now, and I'd suggest that you make the neck of the guitar a little thicker than

(continued)...thicker than you would gum paste flowers or other decorations. Since it's such a skinny part, it's easy to be holding the neck and have the body of the guitar snap from the weight, but if ur super careful, that won't happen.

And- U don't have to do the glaze at all. YOu can just color ur gum paste with whatever colors u want and it will look great.
