Well, rehersal assumes that it was pre-written beforehand. They know the format but the dialogue and song lyrics are improvised.

nah, i meant they make stuff up in their heads at the time and then are given about 5 minutes to get it wrong (if they can't think of any thing) and to improve it.

this video is very funny and i doubt they could do that every episode off the top of their heads.

Oh, yeah, there are definitely mistakes. In fact even in the things that air there are mistakes but they're saved at the last minute from another improv-er coming up with something.

Well, they tape for hours, several episodes are made out of one taping. If a scene completely breaks down and absolutely fails to work then they won't include it, or if there's swearing involved it won't get past the censor, but they show pretty much all of it to my knowledge.
