Part 4: ...in water tariffs in Cochabamba. The New Yorker reported on the World Bank's motives. Most of the poorest neighborhoods were not hooked up to the network, so state subsidies to the water utility went mainly to industries and middle-class neighborhoods and the poor paid far more for water of dubious purity from trucks and handcarts. People were not allowed to drink the rainwater they collected in their yard because of the privatization of water.
Part 3: ...it privatized its water services to the US-based Bechtel Corporation." The World Bank claimed that poor third-world governments were plagued by local corruption and were ill equipped to run public water systems efficiently without the assistance of private corporations who could open the door to needed investment and skilled management. In a 1999 Public Expenditure Review the World Bank stated that no subsidies should be given to ameliorate the increase...
Part 2: ...The Bolivian government turned to the World Bank and for the next 20 years successive governments followed the World Bank's provisions in order to qualify for continued loans. In order to move towards "independent" development, Bolivia privatised its railways, telephone system, national airlines, and hydrocarbon industry. @Povidius Okay I have set fire to my iPad and my iPhone. Tonight we should meet up and go door to door confiscating and destroying these evil things! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
this is very very true lindsey williams is the first one i heard telling of how kissinger went around singing on the middle eastern countries onto this deal to pay our interest amazing and true!
He says "we" a lot in reference to the u.s. government. I'm sorry, but "we" includes me and I have absolutely nothing to do with the u.s. government. It was imposed on my by force.
Remember that a corporation is a government sponsored entity. The government grants the principles of the corporation immunity for any of the bad things their company does. This is the root of all corporate "evil". Government is the problem, not any free market aspect.
Yes, but if our government tries to pull off another 9/11 on we the people, I'm going to nuke DC and I don't care how many people who live in that area of the country die in the process. How do you like them apples?
@Glefit It won't stop until enough people realize that the corporate elite are the enemy of the American people. Too many ignorant people are busy attacking the gov't - something which will only destroy the last remnants of democracy in the U.S. If they keep the "influence" they appear to have right now, they'll send more Wall St. employees into Congress and the White House.
all slaves of the big corporations. The American public are the servants and slaves just like every human being in the planet. Every time a country refuses it has been invaded. The US has invaded 170 countries in 100 years. Some countries invaded up to 4 times, due to the economic pressures of the US empire. Wake up people, the US is not a true democracy, but an empire of oppresion.
@rodericb305 I have 2 wind turbines and 20 solar panels, inverters, a bank of batteries. My own water well. A biodiesel processor. Diesel trucks and tractor. 1.5 acre garden. Fruit trees. Raise 2-3 hogs & 100+ chickens per year.
@Rimsh7 I'm almost grid-free and it IS work. Sometimes really hard work. But...I like it. Before the end of the year old junkiron1 will be totally...unplugged.
BWAHAHAHAHAA!!! Too funny! The willingness to believe and defend such garbage is hilarious!
The "9/11 Truthers" science is more correct than the "You're Nuttier than Squirrel Shit" science? My physics is better than your physics? I'm a shill? No, YOU'RE a shill. LMFAO!
Trust me. If the Illuminati Zionist NWO capped this clown's ass...zzzzz...zzzzz. The world wouldn't even notice.
Ahhh...the willingness to believe the unbelievable....
if this is true, why is this guy not died. If there are powerful forces that can influence elections and take resources from other countries, why can they not just get rid of him???
MAYBE HE JUST WANTS TO SELL A BOOK AND MAKE MONEY FOR HIM AND HIS 24 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. THINK ABOUT THAT
@Mrcbclobster even if it were a hoax, these "powerful forces" don't tolerate people trolling, flaming or blackmailing them.....even if it is the world's biggest LIE!
@Mogtepyigsoloth The laws of motion doesn't prove 9/11 was a controlled demolition, it proves the towers collapsed on its own weight after the infrastructure had been weakened due to the damage caused by the explosions, fires and impact of the planes.
Learn how to think for yourself instead of accepting crackpot theories. ;)
It's you who are uneducated and naive, or you're a shill for the NWO.
The laws of motion are what allow mankind to place sattelites in orbit. These mathematical laws certainly do prove 9/11 was a controlled demolition. And they always will, for those able to discern truth.
So, you've either been duped, or you are a shill for the real perpetrators of 9/11.
@Mogtepyigsoloth If you actually bothered doing some non-biased research, you would quickly learn that the whole 9/11 conspiracy has been debunked and refuted by actual scientists, and not some dipshit teenagekid with a computer.
Also, looks to me like you need a tinfoil hat, because we, the evil henchmen for the evil US empire are totally reading and manipulating your mind as we type.
tl;dr: you're ignorant and you don't know shit, so please just stfu.
I always know I have one of you little men backed into a corner when you break your composure, begin to sweat profusely, and then you begin name calling & your childish attempts to discredit scientific facts with unfounded opinion.
The 9/11 Truth movement ignores shills like yourself, for you are incapable of higher learning and always revert to flinging your own excrement. You've a child like devotion to propaganda, and an inability to perform higher math.
Why don't I ever run into anyone in every day life as the people I hear in this video, or who leave comments in here. I'm tired of leaving my house and feeling like as soon as I walk outside I am in zombie nation! That and the 62 of 65 sheep on my facebook page.
@emerson24 You have to talk to people about that and look who is open to this kind of thoughts. More people still prefer to live sleeping. But I already taught some guys and girls what's really going on, I don't know if they're thankful, though. :-)
@Alex1984Z definitely true, if I said aloud only 20% of what I learned about thisin a classroom, i'd get 30 people staring me down and thinking i'm a crazy conspiracy theorist.. the funny thong is the argument they always bring is '' if all you say is true, why doesn't CNN, or MSNBC report it?'' quite hilarious, yet sad
@DREwestcoast Yes those kind of responses are definately hilarious. :-) I think I would have laughed out loud. Often when my professors are teaching me something about economy I speak up and let them hear the flaws which I see in the way they're thinking. Surpisingly enough I'm often the one with the last word and they agree with me. Not talking about classmates... Most care about good grades but not about really learning something.
@Alex1984Z yeah but the problem is much deeper than just intellectual laziness, the whole ''education system'' is run through the government.. so basically the teachers HAVE to teach what the government tells them to , or else their students will fail the exams that the state, and they'll lose their the ability to think for one-self has been slowly but surely crushed by the bureaucrats who run the education system, plus the media, thinking back about my HS days, schools actually are sheep farms.
@DREwestcoast You are right that's why I got quite lucky by having some profs who were close to retirement, thus they did not care anymore about their reputation amongst their younger colleagues. I agree with you that the most things that you get taught in the university are better to be forgotten right after you learned them, because they're just the same bullshit your hear in the mass media.
@apopyalips Anywhere there is oil, gold, diamonds & other natural resources you will find the jew using their power, the mossad the FBI, the CIA & others to destabilize that country. This has been going on for 300 years. Africa is mineral rich & the Africans who are moved into power are sure to be corrupt. The ones who actually want to help their country are killed or that country gets hammered by the banking structure. Israel is now at the center of the weapons, drug, white sex trade and more
Don't believe this jackass. He sounds like he's still working for these zionist corporate pigs. Anyone who has done a small amount of research knows Henry Kissinger was the point-man on creating that 1970's oil enbargo. The Saudi ruling family are not true arabs nor muslims. They are Wahabbi arabs which are jews that pretended to convert many years ago in order to capture control of the real islamic movement. Crypto-jews like the pope is today. This guy is still an operative. He's still a liar
@theagent9 if your narrow mind can't even make sense out of my poorly built sentence, then you're just plain retarded, or just a smartass, without smarts whatsoever.
@DREwestcoast Ya know cocksuckers like you expect people to understand what you mean instead of what you say. That's ignorant. The point of view I have is based on years of information, it doesn't stem from narrow mindedness. Small brained muthafucker like yourself really shouldn't be getting in debates like this because you have an opinion with no clues of what's true or untrue. Go fuck yourself
@DREwestcoast You're delusional. My views are only gaining steam and many are discovering this same truth. As well I am not mad just passionate about the jews being discovered as the most filthy people ever
@theagent9 I'm delusional? you're the one calling the guy a liar yet you don't point out one single fact that proves your allegation.. keep sending me your little cooked-up comebacks right off 4chan
@DREwestcoast You really have a problem articulating a clear point. You need to read research from iamthewitness-dotcom, jewishracsim-dotcom, veteranstoday-dotcom, theuglytruth.podbean-dotcom Start there if you really want know some facts. But most likely you're not interested in that. I think your job is causing confusion on youtube. If I'm wrong good. Look that shit up and learn a thing or two
"Free markets" that are larger than a neighborhood are impossible. Once the people who live near a "resource" are convinced to take more of that resource than they need for themselves, and start shipping it away in exchange for money, the "resource" slowly vanishes... sometimes leading to effects like extinction, and a whole list of environmental havoc & destruction. Think about whales, about the forests in several parts of the world, about bird species, about bison, about gold mines, etc ^..^
I contend that exploitation occurs at the small business level. No govt help needed. It is a system that applies competition..the behaviors occur automatically...it promotes the behavior. Ex: Pharmacist waters down chemo shots for almost a decade. People died. Christian pillar of his community. He claimed he didn't look at is harming people. All he could see was profit.
There are millions of examples of the behavior, the competition, the greed.
@alennna I don't have a strong emotional "hate" toward profit, just the inevitable behavior that ensues to pursue it. If you have an environment that doesn't allow for the "criminal" behavior you don't get it. I never said poverty doesn't exist within communism and socialism...indeed if you take a critical look they have a lot in common with capitalism in that the social hierarchy is still there in both...so is the monetary system.
@alennna Which is EXACTLY why we need a system that will produce the environment that is conducive to live within...a resource based economy...ending the abberhant behavior of greed and competion, the divisive racism, ethnocentrism, etc., and the neurosis that develop. Otherwise we're going to get globalization with corporatacracy elites at the helm and almost the entire world citizenry at a less than favorable position of servitude.
@alennna A RBE advocated by J.Fresco is based on utilizing resources in the most logical ways and inventoried. Ex: We've powered our entire economy around oil. It's a nonrenewable, pollutes, etc., etc. Also, we use resources to build anything and everything as long as it makes a profit, no inventory..and just blind, cyclical mass consumption. A RBE advocates harnessing geothermal, tidal, wave, wind and many other sources of energy that are clean and abundant sources..profit won't factor in.
@alennna The thing is, a free market can't be realize with hierarchy, as there will be differential adv. which will end up with the same collusion behavior you speak of. Third world countries will be taken adv of in the markets; corps exploit them for cheap goods and labor..
A RBE will merge the resources alll over the world and all countries have access to needs, highest tech and educ for all. ALL benefit. Why should there be a poor population? Just because we're accustomed to it?
@alennna ending war, poverty and social hierarchy will also end crime, and poor health we're all suffering due to stress of social hierarchy. See the Whitehallstudy. Stress is killing us. 99% of our existence on earth has been egalitarian it was the invention of agriculture and stockpiling of goods that created social classes and poverty. An RBE would allow for no more pollution, crops grown in places never before because profit won't be an issue. Cures instead of profitable treatment.
@alennna Do you not see how Halliburton, Brown & Root, Bechtel, and other companies operate? It's all intertwined, Companies, Banks and Govt. These companies make HUGE sums off of oil resources, building contracts, and weaponry manufacturing in war.
It's a "controlled" market. This behavior isn't going away with reform...this sets up the behavior automatica. & greed ensues, then stratified resources.
We need to move on from this old method. It cannot sustain.
@alennna Have you ever thought about how stupid it is to build weaponry that if used, most people will die and those safe in the bunkers (govt and elites) will come out to a radiated planet? That's seriously stupid isn't it. All those resources could be used to better humanity, to bridge communication between nation...to end war...and NO starvation.
It's truly insane. Really insane. The more sucessful our economic system is, the closure we come to destroying the planet.
@alennna Btw, a resource based economy and a highly elevated education with changed cultural values will be conducive to produce high abundance of goods and services...they'll be no need for greed and hording, as the values will be different and abundance will be realized.
There has to be a way to get this info exposed more. I have done my bit last year, sending it to everyone. Telling ppl every where I went. Today I come back to listen once again (as I just sent it to someone) and noticed that there are only 534 thumbs up for it. Does that mean that it is NOT getting much exposure??? If yes, then what must be done to get more ppl to see it. This is amazing need to know info. Perhaps the title is wrong? Any suggestions?
Capitalism is the wage slavery of immensu humanity in a politically manipulated, tyrannical MARKET SYSTEM OF PERPETUAL SCARCITY to perpetuate wage-slavery/exploitation for the abstract process of CAPITAL ACCUMULATION AND CONCENTRATION OF CAPITAL in the control of the ruling class. We need to organise ourselves for a democratic world-wide majority movement to Share the Earth for our common needs and well being . Capitalism is the imposition of minority rule for minority private gain and greed.
In the 1980s, Keynesian supply demand economics was done away with by big business!!! Monetary economics, which is the economics of high unemployment was used to destroy the power of the unions and keep the
working class down. The 1980s Corporotracacy (sp??) urged creating more currency to create inflation and worldwide recession! This increased the gap between rich and poor!. The rich empire that he speaks of planned this, and were only interested in the needs of the rich and powerful.
@alennna While I agree with most of what you're saying, but how can you have a "free market?" no such thing b/c Capitalism by it's design creates competition (greed, corruption, collusion) and the highest reward in capitalism is monopoly.
Also, please elaborate on regulation. IF you don't regulate, you'll have the top corporations taking over and monopolizing...smaller businesses and people get a "few more crumbs" from de-regulation but ultimately it gives the big corps too much power.
@alennna Thanks for explaining. Now let's say that a "free market" could be actualized. What is to stop the competition it breeds from ending up in collusion again and how will equal ground be given in regard to the exploitation it will promote in regard to minimizing overhead and maximizing profit in regard to extracting cheaper resources from Africa and other countries?
Do you see how Capitalism promotes the competition and breeds the greed by its very design?
@alennna Perhaps you're looking at short term fix only in the scheme of things. Capitalism itself...the design of it...promotes the greed, the behavior. Can you call it a "free" market when other countries are exploited for their cheap resources?
Regardless...we are socially evolving backwards with this system. Why put a bandaid on a gaping wound? Why claim the solution as "free market" when it's not free nor fair...is a viable solution?
@alennna Whether it be through govt help or not perceived "free market," the system dictates that we compete and are pitted against one another. By behavioral science evidenced, we WILL do what it takes to survive the businesses we create. Price fixing, monopolies, collusion and create poorly made products (minimize overhead/maximize profit)due to competition; so that fast cyclical consumption occurs so that more profit can be made. A guinea pig on a running wheel.
@blaziermissy Watch Food, Inc. Watch Earthlings. Please note that our economic system is a traditionalized folkway method. It's not based on science. It's time we apply science to our economic and social system.
I'm not here to offend you...I'm pointing out the repercussions of our system from a scientific behavioral perspective. I hold no allegiance to anything but a sound, logical solution that promotes and enhances humanity.
@alennna I contend that exploitation occurs at the small business level.
@blaziermissy No economist writes about the mythical free market monopoly, because it doesn't exist. Monopolies only form when the government acts as its enforcement agency.
@leavesofliberty Monopoly is the highest achievement a corporation can gain in regard to thwarting its competition. By design, any business will do what it takes to thwart competition. That's what competion is...and greed ensues. The lobby with the most money gets its (ex: corporation A) interest on the table first in relation to political benefits within our govt.
IF you're looking for fairness you also have to (critically analyze) the system we uphold. Thus...our system is a failure.
@blaziermissy Of course any capitalist would like monopoly. That wasn't my point. My point is that no capitalist ever achieves monopoly in a free market with competition, that is to say without the government monopoly is impossible to achieve. The government is pretty much a corporation that has the monopoly on law, and the monopoly on police enforcement. Corporations source protection through the government giving them the ability to regulate competition out of the market place.
@leavesofliberty It's obvious you're a free market advocate. If there were such a thing as a free market, which their isn't, how is the differential advantage going to be detered in as far as the market and countries that don't have first world status? What you're failing to note is that a FAIR market is what needs to be established, similar to FAIR trade. Let's face it, our country relies on 3rd world exploitation to keep the cyclical consumption of coporatacracy going.
@leavesofliberty Seriously, you're missing the overall "root" of the problem..the only way to get to a solution is to get to and understand the root of the problem. Our monetary system is the problem...because by its very design creates the behavior...that is the problem. Economics is not a science...it's a continued fokway method that's traditionalized. It's time to apply the scientific method to our economic and social system. Thus, our cultural values will have to change too, for a success
@blaziermissy With that said (see my response in regard to monopoly) there is no way to revamp a monetary system or a free market (because there's no such thing) It's time we apply the scientific to our economic system; ours isn't science. You gauge a systems success by HOW many people benefit. And if all don't benefit, you have poverty, which we all pay for.
A resource based economy is the winner all the way around...and it will ensure our species survival into the future.
@leavesofliberty Perhaps not...but a corporation without govt is just as dangerous due to the competition factor. Without any type of regulation (true regulation, not this bs loophole shit we put up with) business competition lends to behavior not conducive for us all.
@blaziermissy Corporations don't become dangerous because of competition. It's the opposite. Corporations become dangerous when they use their legal shield to prohibit competition. Profit is the result from mutually beneficial exchange. Profit from coercion or force is wrong, but exchange from two consenting adults is moral, and using force and fraud to prevent people from entering into voluntary exchanges is immoral. What would you prefer, exchanges where nobody is allowed to benefit?
@leavesofliberty Competition lends to abberhant behavior...us against them. Anytime a their is a corp. that corp. is going to do anything it can to make profit, maintain the upper edge, and minimize overhead and maximize profit. Then, to keep the cyclical consumption up, products must break down in a certain amount of time so more profit can be made. Without this, our system wouldn't survive without the fast turnover cycle. buy..throw awy..buy..throw away. This waste resources. There's better.
@leavesofliberty Corporations are dangerous because all we are to them are consumers. That's it. And at this point, our consumption patterns don't even matter to them..as the rich are trading/buying amongst themselves. IF corporations gave a damn about "people" they wouldn't go to poor countries and slave labor them...and leave the people here jobless. Yes, corps are dangerous...profit has trumped human concern.
@blaziermissy and btw, before the corporations go into poor countries, at least they had subsistance living. Maybe not much by our standards, but they survived. A corporation will go into a poor country and exploit the people for pennies...when they leave, the people have nothing...not even their subsistance living they had before.
It's time to end greed...and an outdated system that's leading to ALL of our demise in the long run.
@blaziermissy The reasons why you would need guns to stop people from competing with each other is because there is great benifit between voluntary exchange by both parties. If both parties did not find a benefit to exchange, then they wouldn't enter into exchange. To stop people from exchanging and competing for exchanges would require overwhelming force, and overwhelming force is extremely bad. Even in the most oppressive regimes, people will find ways to barter and to compete for barter.
@leavesofliberty You don't need a reason to "stop people from needing to exchange" in a environment that creates abundance.
When you have an environment where you stop people from getting what they need to survive you absolutely need to go back to the drawing board..it's a failure.
You gauge a system as sucessful when it benefits ALL people.
@leavesofliberty Competition IS the problem in regard to a sustainable economic system. It creates the very behaviors we wish to eliminate..it lends to war, poverty, division, etc. You can't have a system in place that promotes it and expect peace and cooperation. Our system of competition for primary needs creates social stratification, hierarchy, elitism and stress. Like crime? That's what you'll get.
@blaziermissy People aren't just going to wake up one day and decide that for the good of mankind they are going to strive to be mediocre in all aspects of life. Do you have any idea how many guns, soldiers, and bullets it would take to prevent people from competing with each other? Even then, the soldiers would compete with each other to see who was the greatest kill-bot. To carry out your solution would require the worst kind of totalitarianism.
@leavesofliberty Strive to be mediocre? That's an assumption. People are social animals and they have the ability to coexist peacefully when there's not scarcity and there is a common interest. It mainly depends on the environment, which directly influences our behavior. If you create an environment that elevates humanity to its highest potential and necessities are met...you've got the groundwork for stability.
@alennna You will never have a free market...because it will end it corruption, once again. And the truth is, why should we live our lives competing against each other? Why should there be poor people?
We can put an end to this mindlock we have on this ideology...and change our system to one that can solve our problems. "We cannot solve our problems by using the same thought processes we used to make them." Albert Einstein
@alennna let me correct myself here: We've all been TOLD we've had a "free market" at different times...we've "never had it."
We've never had a true democracy either. If we did, we wouldn't have two parties that serve 1% of the people holding 90% of the wealth. A twist of defintions, linguistics, propoganda and an elite owned media have formed and steered your opinion for you.
@alennna Yes we do agree on common ground. How about this: How about we FINALLY apply the scientific method (it obviously works look at all we have: cars, meds, tech) to our economic and social system? End war, elevate humanity mentally, actualize equality so their is no poor or social hierarchy, provide for sustainability, efficiency and finally get it right on this planet?
@blaziermissy You forgot that poverty and misery of the many creates wealth and happiness for the few. And the few just like the majority won't ever be willing to step down from that height.
@dbloodline i think sometimes these people are no even human, how can someone of my species kill and subject their own kind, the earth, nature it self to such harsh conditions and expect it not to affect them or children to come......the ozone layer is depleting, they can't buy their way out of that, Cancer is on the rise, it's not about money but resources BUT EVERY EMPIRE MUST FALL!!!!!

Tasmanian cancer rates shot up 200% after heavy use of pesticides.

Once they're in debt...
A) We (hit men) will negotiate for OIL, votes, or troops in support of ours.
B) We send in the Jackals to overthrow the Govt, or assisinate the leader.

This man's views about 9/11 can be summed up in one of two ways:
Either he's niave about the topic, and how the laws of motion prove 9/11 was a controlled demolition;
Or, he's performing another assassination of the truth by shilling the real perpetrators talking points/ albis.
Dr Alan Sabrosky, Director of Studies - US Army War College

@Mogtepyigsoloth The laws of motion doesn't prove 9/11 was a controlled demolition, it proves the towers collapsed on its own weight after the infrastructure had been weakened due to the damage caused by the explosions, fires and impact of the planes.

It's you who are uneducated and naive, or you're a shill for the NWO.
The laws of motion are what allow mankind to place sattelites in orbit. These mathematical laws certainly do prove 9/11 was a controlled demolition. And they always will, for those able to discern truth.

A RBE advocates harnessing geothermal, tidal, wave, wind and many other sources of energy that are clean and abundant sources..profit won't factor in.
blaziermissy 1 year ago
@alennna The thing is, a free market can't be realize with hierarchy, as there will be differential adv. which will end up with the same collusion behavior you speak of. Third world countries will be taken adv of in the markets; corps exploit them for cheap goods and labor..
A RBE will merge the resources alll over the world and all countries have access to needs, highest tech and educ for all. ALL benefit. Why should there be a poor population? Just because we're accustomed to it?
blaziermissy 1 year ago

It cannot sustain.
blaziermissy 1 year ago
@alennna Have you ever thought about how stupid it is to build weaponry that if used, most people will die and those safe in the bunkers (govt and elites) will come out to a radiated planet? That's seriously stupid isn't it. All those resources could be used to better humanity, to bridge communication between nation...to end war...and NO starvation.
It's truly insane. Really insane. The more sucessful our economic system is, the closure we come to destroying the planet.

@blaziermissy No economist writes about the mythical free market monopoly, because it doesn't exist. Monopolies only form when the government acts as its enforcement agency.
leavesofliberty 1 year ago
@leavesofliberty Monopoly is the highest achievement a corporation can gain in regard to thwarting its competition. By design, any business will do what it takes to thwart competition. That's what competion is...and greed ensues. The lobby with the most money gets its (ex: corporation A) interest on the table first in relation to political benefits within our govt.
IF you're looking for fairness you also have to (critically analyze) the system we uphold. Thus...our system is a failure.
blaziermissy 1 year ago
@blaziermissy Of course any capitalist would like monopoly. That wasn't my point. My point is that no capitalist ever achieves monopoly in a free market with competition, that is to say without the government monopoly is impossible to achieve. The government is pretty much a corporation that has the monopoly on law, and the monopoly on police enforcement. Corporations source protection through the government giving them the ability to regulate competition out of the market place.
leavesofliberty 1 year ago
@leavesofliberty It's obvious you're a free market advocate. If there were such a thing as a free market, which their isn't, how is the differential advantage going to be detered in as far as the market and countries that don't have first world status? What you're failing to note is that a FAIR market is what needs to be established, similar to FAIR trade. Let's face it, our country relies on 3rd world exploitation to keep the cyclical consumption of coporatacracy going.
Meaning,
blaziermissy 1 year ago

Without any type of regulation (true regulation, not this bs loophole shit we put up with) business competition lends to behavior not conducive for us all.
blaziermissy 1 year ago
@blaziermissy A corporation implies a legal shield that is granted by a government. Without government, no corporations could exist.
leavesofliberty 1 year ago

There's better.
blaziermissy 1 year ago
@leavesofliberty Corporations are dangerous because all we are to them are consumers. That's it. And at this point, our consumption patterns don't even matter to them..as the rich are trading/buying amongst themselves. IF corporations gave a damn about "people" they wouldn't go to poor countries and slave labor them...and leave the people here jobless. Yes, corps are dangerous...profit has trumped human concern.
blaziermissy 1 year ago

Even in the most oppressive regimes, people will find ways to barter and to compete for barter.
leavesofliberty 1 year ago

It's time to realize this.

To carry out your solution would require the worst kind of totalitarianism.
leavesofliberty 1 year ago

@alennna Economics is not even "science," it's a folkway method. There should not even be a POOR, nor a social hierarchy.
Besides that, are you following that economists are beginning to speak out about "economics" and that the free market is a myth? Google it...
The free market is like equality. We all say we have it..........but we don't....never have...
blaziermissy 1 year ago

@blaziermissy Because the social sciences are not hard sciences.

@blaziermissy You forgot that poverty and misery of the many creates wealth and happiness for the few. And the few just like the majority won't ever be willing to step down from that height.
