I completely understand that. Skin bleaching can often help in aesthetic conditions, which is what it always is. The lyrics talk about it as he's "been a victim of a selfish kind of love" which the comment above understands so eloquently. This also makes a point, a bigger one actually, about how white artists, producers, and labels have "covered" black music, blatantly ripped it off. Look at Dick Clark's career! "Black gets whiter musically so why not cosmetically?"

Plastic surgery clinic are available every where and people make money out of this business. Michel jackson wanted to feel how it is when he has white skin.
