I'm confused, this genesis version says its Langrisser 2, but the snes version of this game is called Der Langrisser..

...Am I missing something here?

Der Langrisser is the SNES port/remake of this game.

hello ladyabaxa, I'm curious about one thing of this translation patch, are the ending and the epilogue translated as well?

I was going to upload langrisser 2 after I was done with warsong but since you have it here, there's no point actually

I don't know as I haven't played through this version yet. If you want to upload a playthrough of Langrisser 2 go right ahead. I don't consider it pointless.

Alright I did get around to checking this patch version's ending and it is indeed in english. There are still some problems with text overruns and the font is kind of hard to read but it's legible.

Yepyep. This game became the basis for Der Langrisser - same characters and basic storyline.

der? nice! i know 5 was on the psx never knew it was a saturn version.

1&2 were also remade on PS1 and Saturn too on one disc with anime cutscenes. I have the openings on my favs :D

Oh and Part 1 has a PC Engine CD version too. I just bought that today. When I get my new comp I'll upload the intro from that version :D

I am waiting for it to come to my mail. It bought it from a Japanese ebayer like many games I have bought in the past.

BTW the thing is I want to finally upload videos in great quality. I have Dazzle but the comp I have now is only 256 MB. Less than most computers today. That means I can't use Dazzle until I buy I new machine :(

The comp I use has only 750 MB ram and is 4 1/2 years old so you don't need a top of the line machine to do screen capturing.
